The market opportunities of Lagos can be enhanced by aggregating its several markets, and by devising new appropriate technologies.

Even as a non-christian I never for once abused any girlfriend. Truth is Satan tirelessly continues to accuse us (Job 1: 6-12; 1Pet 5:8; Rev 12: 10). And he uses our brothers and sisters to do so! We will even be called ‘Big Pretenders’ by some of our brethren who have since left the Lord. written by Claudia Beckford The Interlagos circuit in the city of Sao Paulo is the home for the very prestigious F1 Brazilian Grand Prix. It was built in 1940 but its popularity grew until the hometown boy and Formula One driver Emerson Fittipaldi got to hold its first Grand Prix - a non-championship round. In 1973 the racetrack was given full championship status and it was known as one of the longest circuits in the calendar. One year later, in 1974 Carlos Pace another Brazilian won the race and from this point forward the circuit was renamed in his honour. written by Yusuf Danesi To most of us the cross is a remote experience. We have examples of disciples in our congregation who gave up their life’s ambitions and dreams for the sake of the cross. In the wake of the “schism” that marked the church in 2003, these disciples were blamed for obeying Luke 14:33. Unfortunately, a lot of them blamed the church for “ruining” their lives! I do not think it was an error to give up everything for Christ- I would have done the same then, anyhow. written by Yusuf Danesi May be I am wrong, but I still do not believe that any sane lecturer would want to deliberately fail any female student who is decently dressed, hard-working and intelligent. Even if she is the prettiest girl on campus, her lecturers should respect her. Since when has beauty become anathema to intelligence? I witnessed exactly the same thing and gladly corroborated my wife’s observations. Mine even took a strange dimension courtesy of a female friend whom I accompanied to some faculty at Unilag after collecting my letter from the post-graduate school. She had visited my office while coincidentally, she was heading my way. Having earlier written an M.Sc entrance examination to Unilag, she needed to deliver a letter from a legal luminary to the coordinator of the programme for possible assistance. written by Yusuf Danesi Marketers easily forget that growth will come through customer retention, innovation and the identification of growth markets. It is time we replaced old marketing with new marketing that is holistic, technology-enabled and strategic, enabling companies to reach their target customers’ activities, lifestyle, and social space more effectively.
written by rick chapo On the southwestern tip of continental Europe, Portugal is an old school country. In this article, we take a look at Lisbon, Lagos and the Algarve. written by rick chapo If you’re a budget traveler or backpacking Europe, Lagos is a cheap slice of paradise. Casa Rosa is the place for general sustenance, while Joe’s Garage is a place to let go. written by rick chapo Lagos is a small town in Portugal built on a large hill overlooking the Mediterranean Ocean. While its old world charm is evident during the day, it can be a real pain at night. << previous page 1 next page>> |
