Free-to-Air programs are mostly broadcasted internationally, and because it is unencrypted, you will see the programming as it is done. No translation in English, and may even have lengthy introductions like request for donation as in the case of PBS. You will receive satellite signals without need for subscription, but you will need gadgets, understanding your requirement, of course, is the most important thing to know before you jump into the FTA bandwagon.
