Enslaving another human being is one of the greatest crimes against humanity. Simply because it robs the person of their sense of self, the ability to develop their unlimited potential, and their individual freedom. Slavery was one of the most horrific events in human history and in the year 2008 this atrocity to humanity continues.
There are a plethora of books that expose this dark side of humanity and its impact in our society. In addition to that, great efforts have been made to increase public awareness of human trafficking through international forums, conferences, awareness campaigns, and even movies. However, very little has been said in regards to how to end this worldwide epidemic forever.
