In 1 Samuel 21:13, the Bible declares that King David changed his behavior and pretended to be insane, he acted like a madman, scratched and making marks on the doors of the gate and letting saliva run down his beard. However, if you read the entire story you may find that there was no need at all for King David to behave like that!
This story is not present in the Noble Quran, the book which forbids saying anything that could dishonor any prophet.
