An article on a commonly misunderstood passage in Ecclesiastes

Allah is not to be questioned but man shall be questioned by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-09-08 ]
In the Bible, the Lord repents six times for the evil that He either did or thought to do. On the other hand, Allah Never Ever repents in the Quran simply because He Never Ever did or thought to do evil.

Why God Love Killed all the Egyptian Oxen in Bible versus Quran? by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-09-04 ]
The Bible says that God Love had a problem with Pharaoh who treated badly the Israelites. Instead of punishing Pharaoh, God Love killed all the Egyptian Cattle, Horses, Asses, Camels, Oxen, Sheep and Beasts. The Quran says nothing about this story.
If this act has been done by a Muslim guy, all the Western media and the societies of Animals Rights would have been said that this is a barbarian act and emphasizes that Islam is an inhuman religion!
Now, what if this act had already been done by God Love?

Who his Lips are Full of Indignation in Bible versus Quran? by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-09-02 ]
The Bible says:" For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil"; Moses said: "I am of uncircumcised lips"; Isaiah said: "I am a man of unclean lips"; The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips and will put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips
In addition, the Bible cites that the leper (a patient with skin disease) shall put a covering upon his upper lip, and shall cry, "Unclean, unclean". The Bible also says that: There are Swords, indignation, fruit and calves in their lips,
And Poison especially the poison of asps is under their lips.
On the other hand, the Quran says that: Does the man think that no one sees him?; Allah gives him two eyes, a tongue and a pair of lips and guided him on the two paths of good and evil, yet he has not scaled the height?

The finger of God in Bible versus Quran by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-08-31 ]
The Bible says: 1)" For your hands are stained with blood, your fingers with guilt. Your lips have spoken lies, and your tongue mutters wicked things". 2) Praise be to the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle. 3) Jesus put his fingers into the man's ears. Then he spit and touched the man's tongue, 4) a huge man with six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot, 5) 'My little finger is thicker than my father's waist., 6) Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart and do not spend your strength on women. Blood and alter are mentioned in the Bible in seven verses; in them blood is mentioned 12 times and alter is mentioned 15 times. In addition, the finger of God is found in five verses: Dip the finger is found in five verses:
On the other hand, the Quran talks about Noah's debates with the unbelievers. This issue of Noah debates with them is not mentioned in the Bible. In addition, the Quran confers the first battle between Muslims and them. In that Battle, the very few Muslims had beaten the many unbelievers. Moreover, the Quran presents the Hypocrites, 1) their parable and 2) their faith, fingertips and rage! Finally, the Quran grants the fingertips (Fingerprint) in the Afterlife! as it says that Allah will restore the fingertips (the fingertips) of the dead. Each one of us has its own fingerprint!

Where does the Lord Dwell Forever in Bible versus Quran? by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-08-31 ]
When using "Forever", the Bible declares that The Lord Promised the Israelites to give them the Land Forever, the righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it Forever, Hazor and other Biblical places will desolate and no man will dwell in such places Forever, the Lord promised that the throne of David and his descendants will remain secure before the Lord Forever and they will live in peace Forever, Awake, O Lord! Why do you sleep? Rouse yourself. Also, the Bible talks about Live Forever, Priest Forever, Destroyed Forever, Love Forever, Sleep Forever and leprosy Forever, Womb enlarged Forever and "Wandering Stars" Forever.
On the other hand, the Quran never uses Forever for anything on Earth. The Quran uses Forever upon talking about the fate of Human beings in the Afterlife. It is one of two, Paradise Forever or Hell Forever.

The dung port and Gate in Bible versus Quran by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-08-24 ]
According to the Bible, the Lord said: I will spread dung upon your faces, they may eat their own dung, and drink their own piss with you!, Bake your cake using human excrement or Bake your cake using cow manure instead of human excrement, dig a hole and cover up your excrement and burn with fire the flesh, blood, skin, and dung of the sin offering. In addition, the Bible says that the carcase of Jezebel shall be as dung upon the face of the field, he shall perish for ever like his own dung, They perished and became as dung for the earth, they shall not be gathered, nor be buried; they shall be for dung upon the face of the earth, the carcases of men shall fall as dung upon the open field. They shall die of grievous deaths, they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth, they shall be dung upon the ground, their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung. Moreover there is the dung port, the dung gate and a cab of dove's dung is worth five pieces of silver.
On the other hand, the Quran mentions the stool of the cattle once. The Quran says that the cattle produce their milk from a mixture of the digested food and the blood of the cattle. To the best of my knowledge, the Quran is the first book on earth that describes in few words how the milk is produced. Nevertheless, the Quran says that all the messengers sent by Allah used to eat food, i.e., they used to defecate stool. Production of stool upon eating food is a characteritic phenomenon of human beings. Allah, the Lord does not eat i.e. never produce stool. Also, the Angels do not eat i.e. never produce stool. All the messengers (Prophets) ate food i.e. produced stool. Jesus used to eat food i.e. produced stool. This means that He was no more than a Messenger and He was neither God nor Son of God.

Ask the birds and they will tell you in Bible versus Quran by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-08-23 ]
According to the Bible, the Lord says: 1) "I dry up the sea, I turn rivers into a desert; their fish rot for lack of water and die of thirst", 2) "I will make you a bare rock, and you will become a place to spread fishnets. You will never be rebuilt," 3) "I will put hooks in your jaws and make the fish of your streams stick to your scales. I will pull you out from among your streams, with all the fish sticking to your scales", 4) "I will leave you in the desert, you and all the fish of your streams. You will fall on the open field and not be gathered or picked up. I will give you as food to the beasts of the earth and the birds of the air" and 5) "I will sweep away both men and animals; I will sweep away the birds of the air and the fish of the sea" In addition, The Bible says that God has made men like fish in the sea, like sea creatures that have no ruler. On the other hand, the Bible declares that all flesh is not the same: Men have one kind of flesh; animals have another, birds another and fish another. Also, the Bible says: "But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds of the air, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish of the sea inform you."
When talking about the Fish, the Quran presents the following subjects:1) When Moses met his Teacher 2)The Israelites and the trial of the Fish, 3) Allah made lawful to you is the fished of the sea and its use for food and 4) The Benefits of the Sea (Fish to eat, ornaments to wear and ships for travels and transportation.

The sons of God presented themselves before the Lord in Bible versus Quran by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-08-23 ]
The Bible says that the sons of God married the daughters of men giving rise to mighty men of renown. The sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them. All the sons of God shouted for joy when the morning stars sang together. We, the sons of God shall be like him. The sons of God do not die, they are like Angels. He will gather together in one the children of God. The peacemakers are the sons of God. Then the Bible asks: "Who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the Lord?" In addition, the Bible cites that the Israelites are the sons of God. However, Moses who was the great among the Israelites was not more than a servant (slave) of the Lord. Also, the Bible says that there are morning stars and they sing. Scientists never say that.
On the other hand, the Quran denies and condemns that the Almighty Lord has son or sons. All Muslims are like the great Israelite prophet Moses, no more than slaves of the Almighty Lord. The Quran considers saying that the Almighty Lord has Son or sons is great sin that Allah will not forgive it and it ultimately leads to an eternal punishment in the hell.

A halter is for the donkey in Bible and Quran by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-08-22 ]
Talking about the Donkey(s), the Bible declares that: 1) They (Israelites) destroyed with the sword every living thing, 2) Go and totally destroy everything. Do not spare them, 3) Kill men and women, children and infants, and donkeys, 4) "Ishmael" will be a wild donkey of a man, 5) Either Redeem or Kill the firstborn donkey, 6) Do not "covet" your neighbor's wife or donkey, 7) You and your Donkey have to keep the Sabbath, 8) How do you deal with the donkey, and the fools?, 9) Drag away and throw outside the dead donkey, 10)The donkey knows his owner's manger, but Israel does not know, 11) The Egyptian's genitals are like those of donkeys!, 12) Samson killed a thousand men with a jawbone of a donkey! And 13) A donkey spoke with a man's voice!

On the other hand, the Quran talks about: 1) The story of how Allah made revival of a dead man and donkey, 2) Those who claim they worship Allah but not follow His Law are like donkeys that carry books and not understand what they carry, 3) The harshest of all voices is the voice of the donkeys and 4) Allah Creates what we do not know.

What is the covenant Salt in Bible and Quran? by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-08-21 ]
When talking about the Salt, the Bible spoke about the Woman Salt, the Valley of Salt (40 thousands were killed in it!), the City of Salt, the land Planted with Salt, the Mountain Salt (Tel Melah), the Salt home, You are the Salt of the earth, the Salted Conversation, the Healing Salt, Salt your newborn, the Salt River, the fire Salt, the sacred Salt, the covenant Salt, the Salt Sea, the Prophecy that never happened (nothing will be planted in Moab's Land) and some Scientific questions, one of them is very important.
On the other hand, the Quran preceded the Oceanologists by more than 1300 and told us about the Barrier between sweet and Salt Waters. Also, the Quran says that Allah gifts us with the fresh water and He can make it Salty when and if He Wants and hence we have to thank Him.

A whip is for the Horse and a rod for the Fools in Bible and Quran! by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-08-20 ]
When talking about the Horse(s), The Lord says: 1) I killed your young men with the sword, along with your captured Horses, 2) I will destroy your Horses from among you, 3) I will strike every Horse with panic and its rider with madness, 4) I will blind all the Horses of the nations.
In addition the Bible says that the LORD 5) will bring a terrible plague on your Horses and donkeys, 6) Kill the Horses, The Lord commands Joshua and David, 7) A sword is against Horses, Eat the Horses, The Lord commands, Horses of fire, 8) The Horse has no understanding, 9) The Horses' hoofs thundered, trample and seem like flint, 10) The Horse is a vain hope for deliverance, 11) When God of Jacob rebuke, the Horse lie still, His pleasure (the Lord) is not in the Horse, nor in the legs of a man, 12) A whip is for the Horse and a rod for the fools!, 13) The Egyptians genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of Horses, 14) The Horses are swifter than eagles and leopards, The Horses are fiercer than wolves, 15) At the sound of Horsemen every town takes to flight and they are cruel and without mercy. The sound is like roaring sea or thunder, The Horses look like Locusts, human, and lions, 16) The Horses trampled the sea, 17) The power of the Horses was in their mouths and in their tails, Blood flowed out of the press, rising as high as the Horses' bridles, The colors of the Horses: red, brown and white, black, fiery red, and pale

On the other hand, the Quran says: Allah made man love women, sons, gold, silver; Horses, cattle, and well-tilled land, Be ready with all of your power, and then your enemies will be afraid of you; and Allah Creates what we do not know.

SYNERGY OF EDUCATION AND LEARNING FOR EFFECTIVE DELIVERY OF THE MILLENIUM DEVELOPMENT GOALS IN NIGERIA by david oluwole
[ 2007-08-11 ]
The topic of discussion is a bit complex and dicey because several researches continue unabated on the three constructs. Our in-depth analysis of them will grant us the opportunity to seek for their implication for individuals in the context of the millenium development goals (MDGs).

Children eat their fathers in Bible and Quran by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-08-04 ]
The followings are the guidelines in respect to the topic of "Eat Rite" in the Bible: 1) Kill anyone who Eats any meat of the fellowship offering belonging to the LORD, 2) Kill anyone who Eats blood, 3) Eat the flesh of your sons and your daughters, 4) Eat the fruit of the womb, the flesh of the sons and daughters, 5) Fathers will Eat their children, and children will Eat their fathers, 6) Eat their own filth and drink their own urine, 7) The lion will Eat straw like the ox, but dust will be the serpent's food, 8) Because of Jacob hip, the tendon attached to the socket of the hip is banned, 9) Benjamin is a ravenous wolf devours the prey and divides the plunder, 10) The carcasses of people are food for the birds and the beasts, 11) They Eat their food in anxiety and drink their water in despair, 12)Eat fat till you are glutted and drink blood till you are drunk, 13) Eat the flesh of Jesus and drink his blood and 14) The beast and the ten horns will hate the (naked) prostitute, Eat her flesh and burn her with fire.

On the other hand, the Quran's guidelines in respect to the topic of "Eat Rite" are: 1) Eat of the good things that Allah have provided for you, 2) Eat of the things which Allah hath provided for you, lawful and good, 3) What the Believers will Eat in the Paradise? And 4) What the Unbelievers will Eat in the Hell?

Helping The Self Before Helping Others by Thanaseelan Vengadasalam
[ 2007-07-06 ]
As a huge observer of paradoxes and that too of life's parodies, I have strongly believed in this paradox since young. That of helping oneself is of paramount importance before helping others. We cannot effectively help others if we are in need of help ourselves.

The Stony Heart in the Sacred Books? by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-07-01 ]
One of the inherited doctrines of mankind is that the Quran is quoted or borrowed from the Bible. This Dogma is established upon studies of many prejudiced intellectuals
In my series of articles, it is obvious the Quran is quite different than the Bible.
It is very clear that the Noble Quran preceded the sciences in many aspects while the Bible contradicts with the sciences.
In the topic of heart, one may ask this: Is the Quran quoted from the Bible?
The Bible which talks about the melted heart, the stony heart, the war inside the heart, the table of the heart, the wise right heart, the fool left heart, the food (not blood) inside the heart etc…. or the Quran which gives us a miraculous scientific statement about the heart?

Who are the Evil Doers who Deserve Woes? In the Sacred Books by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-06-30 ]
When talking about the evil doers who deserve Woes, the Bible sets 14 strange ideas and six beautiful concepts. The strange ideas are: 1) Slay all her bullocks; let them go down to the slaughter, 2) Woe unto him that saith unto his father, what begettest thou, 3) Woe to who hath wounds without cause? Who hath redness of eyes? And go to seek mixed wine, 4) Woe to him that is alone when he falleth, 5) Woe to the land, when the king is a child, and the princes eat in the morning!, 6) Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, 7) Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, 8) Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, 9) Woe unto him that gives his neighbor drink, 10) Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake, 11) Woe unto you that are rich!, 12) Woe unto you that are full!, 13) Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! And 14) the day of the Lord is darkness, and not light. The six beautiful concepts are 1) Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the Lord, 2) Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!, 3) Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!, 4) Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!, 5) Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood and iniquity! And 6) many are the woes of the wicked.
On the other hand, the Quran sets Two Scientific questions for the evil doers:1) Who create you? And 2) Who have made the interior of the earth a grave for both the living and the dead? We all know that the interior of the earth is a grave for the dead. However, the interior of the earth is a grave also for the livings! Do you know that one gram of the soil contains many millions of Living Bacteria? This is what the today sciences say! Also the Quran says that throughout the history, man used to mock every Messenger that Allah sent to them. Then the Quran cites: 1) Woe to the liars and falsehood-mongers who do not believe in the Day of Judgment and Justice! And in the Hell and Heavens! 2) Woe unto him that does not believe in the Quran because the Quran is the truth and is not a falsehood, and hence, 3) be ready for that Day!

Who are the Hypocrites who deserve Woe in the Sacred Books? by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-06-29 ]
According to the Bible, the obvious examples of the Hypocrites are the Pharisees and the lawyers who were the top religious Jews; Jesus described them as: 1) They shut up the kingdom of heaven against men, 2) They devour widows' houses, and make long prayer, 3) They swear by the gold of the temple, 4) They omit the law, judgment, mercy, and faith, 5) They make clean the outside but the interior is full of extortion, 6) They build the tombs of the prophets who were killed by their fathers! 7) They love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets, 8) they are as graves which appear not, etc.
On the other hand, the Quran says that 1) The Hypocrites' hearts are hardened against the Remembrance of Allah., 2) they are the diminishers (defrauders), who, when people measure for them, take full measure, but when they measure or weigh for others, they reduce!, 3) Each one of them is a scandal-monger and-backbiter, who is gathered wealth, thinking his wealth will render him immortal, 4) They deny the Day of judgment, repulse the orphan, do not encourage the feeding of the needy, neglect their prayers and want to be seen, 5) They do not prostrate and worship their Lord and belie the Quran! Then the Quran is forewarning them and says: eat and enjoy yourselves in this life, it is little!, and the Quran asks them: Did we not destroy the ancients (the former generations)?, then the Quran depicts their ultimate fate at the Day of Judgment!

What Nations which Get Woe in the Sacred Books? by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-06-28 ]
According to the Bible, there are many Woes to the Israelites (in six verses), Woes to Jerusalem, the bloody city! (In five verses) then there are another five Woes that are allied to the Israelites ; and they are Woes to: 1) the shepherds of Israel, 2) Ephraim (one of the Israelites' tribes), 3) Ariel, the city where David dwelt, 4) Zion and 5) the daughter of Zion.
In addition, then there are a dozen of Woes distributed unto 1) Moab, 2) Philistines, 3) Assyrian, 4) the land which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia, 5) those who go to Egypt, 6) Babylon, 7) Cherethites!, 8) the land of the Philistines, 9) Unrepentant Cities, 10) Chorazin!, 11) Bethsaida and 12) the multitude of many people. However, the most interesting feature is that there are three Woes (Woe, Woe, and Woe) to the inhabiters of the Earth and to the entire World.
On the other hand, the Quran never mentions any specific nation and/or place in relation to Woe. Allah is warning some kinds of people with Woe. Such people may be found in any nation and in any place. Woe to the unbelievers for a terrible punishment, Woe to the unbelievers because of the Fire! , Woe to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised!, Woe to those who disbelieve for the scene of a Dreadful Day, Woe to the idolaters, Woe to those who did evil among the punishment of a Painful Day and Woe to those who write the Book with their own hands and then say: 'This is from Allah, ' in order to gain a small price for it. So Woe to them for what their hands have written, and Woe to them for their earnings.

Who Said Woe unto Me? in the Sacred Books by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-06-26 ]
According to the Bible, King David, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Job, Micah, the Philistines and, the daughter of Zion said, all of them said: Woe is me or Woe unto me.
King David said: Woe is me! Because I dwell in the tents of Kedar! – Isaiah said: Woe is me! Because I am a man of unclean lips and mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts – Jeremiah said: 1) Woe unto us! For we are spoiled, 2) Woe is me because I am borne a man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! Every one curses me, 3) Woe unto us! For the day goeth away, for the shadows of the evening are stretched out, 4) Woe unto us that we have sinned! - The Philistines said; God is come into the camp. Woe unto us, who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty Gods? And the daughter of Zion: Woe is me now! For my soul is wearied because of murderers.
On the other hand, the Quran says that when an unbeliever sees his book that recorded his deed he will say: 'Woe to me would that my book had not been given to me! And the Unbelievers will say: 1) Woe for us! 'Who has roused us from our graves? This is what Allah promised; the messengers have spoken the truth! ', 2) Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment! , 3) Woe to us! We did wrong indeed!" and 4) 'woe to us, truly we were insolent

The Scientific impact of "I Do Not Know" in Bible and Quran by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-06-23 ]
Upon using "I Do Not Know" the Bible says that: 1) there be three things which are too wonderful for me, yea, four which I know not:
The way of an eagle in the air; the way of a serpent upon a rock; the way of a ship in the midst of the sea; and the way of a man with a maid, 2) Isaac said: I am old, I know not the day of my death (Every one does not know too the day of his death!), 3) I know not how to go out or come in, 4) I know not to give flattering titles, 5) Peter Denied Jesus! And swears: I do not know Jesus!
Upon using "I Do Not Know" the Quran talks about 1) The historical Dialogue between Noah and his people and What Noah was commanded to say to his people, 2) The Dialogue between Mohammad and the Arabs at the time of Quran's revelation and What Mohammad was commanded to say to the Arabs and 3) The in future Dialogue between Allah and Jesus; This dialogue will take place at the Day of Judgment!
And Jesus will say: I do not know!

The Meeting of Two Seas in the Sacred Books by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-06-22 ]
The Meeting of Two Seas is mentioned once in the Bible and four times in the Quran. This is one of the rare examples of an issue that is mentioned in the Quran more frequently in comparison to the Bible. According to the Bible, where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmovable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves.
On the other hand, the Quran preceded the Oceanography and mentioned that there is a barrier at the Junction between two seas that meet and that they do not transgress. Also, the Quran talks about the divider between fresh and salt water, it mentions the existence of "a forbidding partition" with the barrier.
In addition, the Quran says that there are two types of Pearls, the Freshwater and Saltwater Pearls
Historically, the Quran cites that Moses went to the junction where the two seas meet in order to see the blessed knowledgeable. Moses wanted to learn from him. This event is not mentioned in the Bible.

The Israelites' Plays in the Sacred Books by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-06-19 ]
According to the Bible, the Lord says: 1) Have you seen what the backsliding Israel had done? she went up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there she had played the harlot, 2) The backsliding Israel committed adultery and her sister Judah played the harlot, 3) Israel plays the harlot
Also, the Bible says that 1) Tamar, Judah's daughter in law had played the harlot, 2) David and all the house of Israel played before the Lord on all manner of instruments, 3) Stone to death any damsel which found NOT VIRGIN, because she played the whore in her father's house and made folly in Israel, 4) Aholah played the harlot when she was belonged to the Lord! And 5) Aholibah (Aholah's sister, which is Jerusalem) multiplied her whoredoms and played the harlot
On the other hand, the Quran depicts what the first ten Israelites had done to their brother (Joseph) and father (Jacob), they lied and tried to kill Joseph. They took Joseph to get rid of him after convincing their father Israel (Jacob) that they want to play with their brother! The only problem of Joseph in the eyes of the 10 Israelites was that Jacob loved him very much. Also, the Quran says that The Israelites said 'Allah has never sent down anything to a mortal (Mohammad), the Quran replies: 'who, then sent down the book which Moses brought?

The Unbelievers Playing game in the Sacred Books by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-06-18 ]
Upon talking about the play in 45 verses, the Bible never mentions the Unbelievers in these 45 verses.
Upon talking about the play in 19 verses, the Quran mentions the Unbelievers in 10 out of these 19 verses.
Allah says that: Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us? ' Then the Quran describes the Unbelievers and says that: 1) They are in doubt playing; 2) They listen to the message of Allah while they are playing! And 3) And they are mocking! Also, dives an advice about what the Believers have to do with the Unbelievers?
If they kept their way, Leave them until they know the truth at the Day of Judgment. Finally, the Quran describes the fate of the Unbelievers at the Day of Judgment.

The Play in this Life and Afterlife in the Sacred Books by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-06-17 ]
The Bible says that 1) And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den, 2) As it is written: "The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play." In addition, the Bible is talking about playing people and the damsels which were playing with timbrels. Also, the Bible says that some people were playing with instruments.
On the other hand, the Quran says that: 1) Allah does not create the heavens and the earth in Play! 2) Our life is nothing but a diversion and play; however, the Afterlife is the Eternal one! And 3) We are playing in this life; however, the Afterlife is the better Eternal home for those who understand!

Play the Harlot (Whore) in the Sacred Books by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-06-16 ]
The Bible says that 1) Tamar, Judah's daughter in law is the first woman in the Bible which played the harlot
, 2) if the daughter of any priest played the whore she shall be burnt with fire, 3) If a girl gets married and found that she is not virgin, the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she dies, 4) upon every high hill and under every green tree thou wanderest, playing the harlot, 5) thou hast played the harlot with many lovers, 6) Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she hath played the harlot, 7) The backsliding Israel committed adultery and her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also, 8) Jerusalem played the harlot (repeated four times), 9) Aholah played the harlot when she was mine (Mine is referred to the Lord!), 10) Aholah's sister, Aholibah which is Jerusalem, multiplied her whore and adultery! 11) they go in unto a woman that playeth the harlot, 12) their mother hath played the harlot and 13) Israel plays the harlot.
On the other hand, Play the Harlot or Play the Whore is never mentioned in the Quran. However, the Quran says that: the Quran says that 1) leave them playing, until they encounter the Day of Judgment, 2) avoid those who take their religion as playing and 3) The life of this world is nothing but a play. while the Everlasting Residence is the Eternal Life, if they but knew.

The Stars in the Sacred Books by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-06-15 ]
One of the inherited doctrines of mankind is that the Quran is quoted or borrowed from the Bible. This Dogma is established upon studies of many prejudiced intellectuals which mischief you due to its unenthusiastic consequences on your faith.
In this series of articles, I will try to explore this Dogma on scientific basis to show up that it is forged.
If we study any topic in Quran versus Bible, we will observe the immense dissimilarities in both. If we link such dissimilarities to the sciences, we will realize that sciences are in favor of the Noble Quran.
In the topic of Stars, one may ask this: Is the Quran quoted from the Bible? And which book look good with sciences? The book which talks about the wandering or the singing Stars or the one which talks about the great issue of the positions of the Stars!

The Bible says that 1)Tamar, Judah's daughter in law played the harlot, 2) A Levite's concubine played the whore against him, 3) Jerusalem played the whore and the harlot, 4) Aholah played the harlot when she was mine![Mine herein is referred o the Lord!], 5) Aholah's sister, Aholibah which is Jerusalem, multiplied her whore and adultery!, 6) David took a harp, and played with his hand to make Saul refreshed and the evil spirit departed from him and 7) Although David was helping her father, however, Michal, the daughter of Saul despised David in her heart.
On the other hand, the Quran says that Joseph's brothers took Joseph to get rid of him after convincing their father Jacob that they want to play with their brother! In addition, the Quran cites Abraham's debates with his people; He told them not to worship idols (statues), they said:" 'is it the truth you have brought us, or are you one of those that play?" This story is not mentioned in the Bible!

Does the Lord play? in the Sacred Books by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-06-14 ]
According to the Bible, 1) The Lord said that the backsliding Israel, played the harlot, 2) the evil spirit from the Lord (God) was upon Saul, 3) David played before the Lord. Also, the Bible says: Let the Lord command to seek out a man, who is a cunning player on an harp in order to calm down the evil spirit from the Lord; the Lord do that which seemeth him good and when the minstrel played, that the hand of the Lord came upon him.
On the other hand, the Quran says that Allah created the heavens and the earth (and us) NOT in PLAY! It is the People who are playing even when listening to their Lord's message(s). Then the Quran gives an example of a conversation between a Messenger and his people; and the Quran provides a question from Allah to whom who it may concern:"Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us?"

The Hoof and Violence in the Sacred Books by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-06-08 ]
According to the Bible, the Lord says: 1) I will give you hoofs of bronze and you will break to pieces many nations, 2) I will destroy all her cattle from beside abundant waters no longer to be stirred by the foot of man or muddied by the hoofs of cattle, 3) The hoofs of his horses will trample all your streets; he will kill your people with the sword, 4) I am going to raise up a shepherd over the land who will not care for the lost, or seek the young, or heal the injured, or feed the healthy, but will eat the meat of the choice sheep, tearing off their hoofs and 5) Fathers will not turn to help their children; their hands will hang limp. Biologists say that neither the Coney nor the Rabbit chew the cud. However, the Bible says that both the Coney and the Rabbit chew the cud.
On the other hand, the Quran says that the reason that Allah forbade the Jews all with undivided hoofs is because of their transgressions. However, if they belie you, then say: your lord is the lord of all-encompassing mercy; and his punishment cannot be averted from the evildoer's people.

The Finger in the Sacred Books by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-06-07 ]

The Fish in the Sacred Books by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-06-05 ]

What Do the Bible and Quran say about the Heap? by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-06-03 ]
According to the Bible, the Lord thy God says: burn with fire the city, it shall be a Heap for ever and shall not be built again; I will Heap mischiefs and spend mine arrows upon them. Joshua burnt Ai, and made it an Heap for ever and a great Heap of stones is made upon the carcase of the king of Ai. With the jawbone of an ass, Heaps upon Heaps, Samson had slain a thousand men. I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste fenced cities into ruinous Heaps. For thou hast made of a city an Heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built. Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous Heap.
Although the Heap is mentioned three times in the Quran, however, the meanings of the three verses of the Heap are not found in the Bible. The Quran talks about the Human nature and behavior, The Last day in this life and the Heap in the Everlasting Life.

The Theological values of the Nose in the Three Religions by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-05-31 ]
In the Bible, the Lord will put his hook in your nose and his bit in your mouth; the Lord says:" I am holier than thou, these are a smoke in my nose". The outcome of the jealous anger of the Lord! Is: they will cut off your noses and your ears, they will take away your sons and daughters, and those of you who are left will fall by the sword and consumed by fire.
The advice for a person with flat nose is "Do not approach". The king of Assyria, who took Manasseh prisoner, put a hook in his nose.
Also, the Bible says: 1)They have noses but they cannot smell, 2)Twisting the nose produces blood!, 3) Your nose is like the tower of Lebanon, 4) looking toward thy breasts shall be as clusters of the vine, and the smell of thy nose like apples, 5) stop the noses of the passengers. Then the Bible asks these two questions: 1) Can anyone capture him and pierce his nose? And 2) Can you put a cord through his nose?
In addition the Bible talks about Nose ring in five verses.
On the other hand, the Quran says that Allah has written in Torah that a life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, a tooth for a tooth, and for wounds equal retaliation, but whosoever forgoes it as a freewill offering, it will be expiation for him. Whoever does not judge according to what Allah has sent down are the wrong-doers. It should be emphasized that the Torah's law never says Nose for Nose.

The Theological values of the Teeth in the Three Religions by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-05-29 ]
The Bible talks about Beast with three ribs in the mouth between the teeth and Beast with iron teeth and bronze claws. Also the Bible says that: 1) the teeth have skin, 2) Teeth are swords, 3)Their teeth were like lions' teeth, 4) The teeth of the great lions are broken, 5) O Lord, Break the fangs of the lions!, 6) A nation (without number) with teeth of a lion, 7) O Lord Arise and break the teeth, 8) the Lord, has not let us be torn by their teeth, 9) The Mouth is like the best wine, 10) You will thresh the mountains (with teeth) and crush them, 11) God has broken my teeth with gravel and 12) The beloved woman's teeth are like a flock of sheep
The Theological uses of the Lips in the Three Religions by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-05-22 ]

[ 2007-05-19 ]
"Do you not see" is mentioned three times in the Bible and 33 times in the Quran. This is one of the rare examples of an issue that is mentioned in the Quran more frequently in comparison to the Bible. The Bible used "Do you not see" to talk about what happened in Judah and "all these things".
On the other hand, the Quran used "Do you not see" to talk about four main scientific issues, five historical topics and 11 theological themes

The Sons of God in the Sacred Books by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-05-17 ]

The Navel in the Sacred Book by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-05-16 ]
The Navel (umbilicus) is a scar on the abdomen, caused when the umbilical cord is removed from a newborn baby. In respect to Jerusalem ID and Navel, the Bible says that Jerusalem is Canaanite her father was an Amorite, and her mother was a Hittite. Jerusalem's Navel was not cut, not washed, not salted and not swaddled. In addition, the Bible describes a creature that eats grass and his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the Navel of his belly. His bones are like bars of iron. He is very important because "He" is the chief of the ways of God. Also, the Bible suggests that you have to fear the LORD if you are looking for a healthy Navel. Then you better read what the Bible says about the Navel in Song of Solomon. On the other hand, The Quran does not mention the Navel.

The Victims of the Second Glass of Wine: Lot and His Daughters by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-05-14 ]
In man's history, the first glass of wine Biblically justifies Racism, Color discrimination and Slavery. Herein, the second glass of wine Biblically justifies committing adultery between the daughter and her father (Lot); a very shameful evil act that ended up with the creation of two big nations, Ammon and Moab.
On the other hand, the Quran says that Lot's nation was the first in the history of mankind to commit homosexuality. The Quran says that Allah left a sign for Lot's nation; this sign needs serious scientists to dig for. The Quran and Islamic teachings deny the Biblical story about Lot and his daughters (who were three or more and were pure and clean). The Quran considers Lot as a Messenger who had done his job perfectly.

Noah, the Honored Great Messenger by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-05-13 ]
The "Perfect, just and righteous" Noah as the Bible said plants a vineyard, gets drunk, and lies around naked in his tent. His son, Ham, happens to see him in this condition. When Noah awoke and heard "what his young son had done unto him" he curses not Ham, who "saw the nakedness of his father," but Ham's son, Canaan. This biblical story had been used to justify slavery, racism and color discrimination.
On the other hand, the Quran says that Noah was one of the great Messengers; He had a big problem with his son. His son was unbeliever. This problem ended up with the dramatic death of his son (drowned in the flood).

The Horrible Outcome of the First Historical Victim of Wine by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Expert
[ 2007-05-11 ]
Many millions of innocent people had been killed, slaved and abused because of the First Glass of Wine.
According to the Bible, Noah cursed Ham's son, Canaan because of the First Glass of Wine. This is a typical example of biblical injustice, and is one of many Bible passages that have been used to justify Slavery, Racism and Color Discrimination.
On the other hand, the Quran denies this story of the First Glass of Wine which hand horrible impacts on mankind.
