by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil [ 2007-06-22 ] The Meeting of Two Seas is mentioned once in the Bible and four times in the Quran. This is one of the rare examples of an issue that is mentioned in the Quran more frequently in comparison to the Bible. According to the Bible, where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmovable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves.
On the other hand, the Quran preceded the Oceanography and mentioned that there is a barrier at the Junction between two seas that meet and that they do not transgress. Also, the Quran talks about the divider between fresh and salt water, it mentions the existence of "a forbidding partition" with the barrier.
In addition, the Quran says that there are two types of Pearls, the Freshwater and Saltwater Pearls
Historically, the Quran cites that Moses went to the junction where the two seas meet in order to see the blessed knowledgeable. Moses wanted to learn from him. This event is not mentioned in the Bible.
by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil [ 2007-06-21 ] When talking about Pearls, the Bible says that:1) The mother-of-pearl is in the king's palace, 2) No mention shall be made of pearls, 3) do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to pieces, 4) the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls, 5) women should adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array, 6) Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection and 7) But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. On the other hand, the Quran says that: 1) There are two types of Pearls, the Freshwater and Saltwater Pearls, 2) The righteous deeds shall be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, 3) The women companions in the Paradise are with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes, like unto pearls well-guarded and 4) The male servants in the Paradise are boys who are like unto pearls well-guarded by Jeff Fiske [ 2007-06-19 ] An Audio Bible is convenient and enriching,

They took Joseph to get rid of him after convincing their father Israel (Jacob) that they want to play with their brother! Also, the Quran says that The Israelites said 'Allah has never sent down anything to a mortal (Mohammad), the Quran replies: 'who, then sent down the book which Moses brought?
by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil [ 2007-06-18 ] Upon talking about the play in 45 verses, the Bible never mentions the Unbelievers in these 45 verses.
Upon talking about the play in 19 verses, the Quran mentions the Unbelievers in 10 out of these 19 verses.
Allah says that: Did you think that We had created you only for play, and that you would never be returned to Us? And 3) We are playing in this life; however, the Afterlife is the better Eternal home for those who understand!

Biologists say that neither the Coney nor the Rabbit chew the cud. However, the Bible says that both the Coney and the Rabbit chew the cud.
On the other hand, the Quran says that the reason that Allah forbade the Jews all with undivided hoofs is because of their transgressions. However, if they belie you, then say: your lord is the lord of all-encompassing mercy; and his punishment cannot be averted from the evildoer's people.

You will never be rebuilt," 3) "I will put hooks in your jaws and make the fish of your streams stick to your scales. I will pull you out from among your streams, with all the fish sticking to your scales", 4) "I will leave you in the desert, you and all the fish of your streams. You will fall on the open field and not be gathered or picked up. I will give you as food to the beasts of the earth and the birds of the air" and 5) "I will sweep away both men and animals; I will sweep away the birds of the air and the fish of the sea" In addition, The Bible says that God has made men like fish in the sea, like sea creatures that have no ruler. On the other hand, the Bible declares that all flesh is not the same: Men have one kind of flesh; animals have another, birds another and fish another. Also, the Bible says: "But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds of the air, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish of the sea inform you."
When talking about the Fish, the Quran presents the following subjects:1) When Moses met his Teacher 2)The Israelites and the trial of the Fish, 3) Allah made lawful to you is the fished of the sea and its use for food and 4) The Benefits of the Sea (Fish to eat, ornaments to wear and ships for travels and transportation.
by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil [ 2007-06-03 ] According to the Bible, the Lord thy God says: burn with fire the city, it shall be a Heap for ever and shall not be built again; I will Heap mischiefs and spend mine arrows upon them. Joshua burnt Ai, and made it an Heap for ever and a great Heap of stones is made upon the carcase of the king of Ai. With the jawbone of an ass, Heaps upon Heaps, Samson had slain a thousand men. I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste fenced cities into ruinous Heaps. For thou hast made of a city an Heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built. Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous Heap.
Although the Heap is mentioned three times in the Quran, however, the meanings of the three verses of the Heap are not found in the Bible. The Quran talks about the Human nature and behavior, The Last day in this life and the Heap in the Everlasting Life.
by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil [ 2007-06-02 ] The Bible says that the children of Israel are perverse and crooked generation and the way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths. Also, the Bible declares that God's hand has formed the crooked serpent and the Lord with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the crooked serpent. The Bible tells us that the crooked cannot be made straight and He hath made my paths crooked. However, the Bible says that God can make that straight, which he hath made crooked; the crooked shall be made straight; I will make the crooked things straight and the crooked shall be made straight
On the other hand, the Quran cites what the Prophet "shu'aib" said to his people; what Allah says to the people of the Book? In addition, the Quran says that those who prefer this life more than the everlasting life = the great error and those who bar others from the path of Allah and desire to make it crooked, they disbelieve in the everlasting life. Then, the Quran declares that there is no crookedness in the Quran and the everlasting life is true and there is no crookedness at the Day of Judgment.
by Dr. Randy Wysong [ 2007-06-01 ] Good logic and science require that questions be faced with an open and receptive mind. The outcome of the jealous anger of the Lord! Is: they will cut off your noses and your ears, they will take away your sons and daughters, and those of you who are left will fall by the sword and consumed by fire.
The advice for a person with flat nose is "Do not approach". The king of Assyria, who took Manasseh prisoner, put a hook in his nose.
Also, the Bible says: 1)They have noses but they cannot smell, 2)Twisting the nose produces blood!, 3) Your nose is like the tower of Lebanon, 4) looking toward thy breasts shall be as clusters of the vine, and the smell of thy nose like apples, 5) stop the noses of the passengers. Then the Bible asks these two questions: 1) Can anyone capture him and pierce his nose? And 2) Can you put a cord through his nose?
In addition the Bible talks about Nose ring in five verses.
On the other hand, the Quran says that Allah has written in Torah that a life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, a tooth for a tooth, and for wounds equal retaliation, but whosoever forgoes it as a freewill offering, it will be expiation for him. Whoever does not judge according to what Allah has sent down are the wrong-doers. It should be emphasized that the Torah's law never says Nose for Nose.
by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil [ 2007-05-29 ] The Bible talks about Beast with three ribs in the mouth between the teeth and Beast with iron teeth and bronze claws. In addition, the Bible cites that the leper (a patient with skin disease) shall put a covering upon his upper lip, and shall cry, "Unclean, unclean". The Bible also says that: There are Swords, indignation, fruit and calves in their lips,
And Poison especially the poison of asps is under their lips.
On the other hand, the Quran says that: Does the man think that no one sees him?; Allah gives him two eyes, a tongue and a pair of lips and guided him on the two paths of good and evil, yet he has not scaled the height?
by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil [ 2007-05-21 ] In the Bible, The Lord says: "I will do a new thing, new things do I declare, I have shewed thee new things from this time" and the Bible says that the Lord hath created a new thing in the earth, all things are become new, they are new every morning. This is one of the rare examples of an issue that is mentioned in the Quran more frequently in comparison to the Bible. On the other hand, the Quran used "Do you not see" to talk about four main scientific issues, five historical topics and 11 theological themes

Also the Quran says: know that Allah is 1) with those who restrain themselves, 2) strict in punishment, 3) Exalted in Power, Wise, 4) Oft-Forgiving, Most Forbearing, Most Merciful, 5) your guardian (protector); and most excellent the helper, 6) with those who fear Him, 7) well-acquainted with all things, and 8) free of all wants, and worthy of all praise. In addition, the Quran cites: know that Allah 1)sees well what ye do, 2)hears and knows all things and everything things, 3) intervenes between man and his heart, and that to him you shall be gathered and desires to afflict them on account of some of their faults (sins).
Furthermore, the Quran says: know that:1) among you is Allah's Messenger and it is Our Messenger's duty to proclaim (the Message) in the clearest manner, 2) your children and your wealth are but a temptation, and that the reward with Allah is great (immense reward), 3) whatever thing you gain, a fifth of it is for…, 4) the life of this world is nothing in comparison to the Eternal Afterlife, 5) they only follow their own lusts, 6) you are to meet Allah (in the Hereafter) and you cannot frustrate Allah. And proclaim a grievous penalty to those who reject Faith and Allah will cover with shame those who reject Him.
by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil [ 2007-05-17 ] The Bible says that the sons of God married the daughters of men giving rise to mighty men of renown. The sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them. All the sons of God shouted for joy when the morning stars sang together. We, the sons of God shall be like him. The sons of God do not die, they are like Angels. He will gather together in one the children of God. The peacemakers are the sons of God. Then the Bible asks: "Who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the Lord?" In addition, the Bible cites that the Israelites are the sons of God. However, Moses who was the great among the Israelites was not more than a servant (slave) of the Lord. Also, the Bible says that there are morning stars and they sing. Scientists never say that.
On the other hand, the Quran denies and condemns that the Almighty Lord has son or sons. All Muslims are like the great Israelite prophet Moses, no more than slaves of the Almighty Lord. The Quran considers saying that the Almighty Lord has Son or sons is great sin that Allah will not forgive it and it ultimately leads to an eternal punishment in the hell.
by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil [ 2007-05-16 ] The Navel (umbilicus) is a scar on the abdomen, caused when the umbilical cord is removed from a newborn baby. In respect to Jerusalem ID and Navel, the Bible says that Jerusalem is Canaanite her father was an Amorite, and her mother was a Hittite. Jerusalem's Navel was not cut, not washed, not salted and not swaddled. In addition, the Bible describes a creature that eats grass and his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the Navel of his belly. His bones are like bars of iron. He is very important because "He" is the chief of the ways of God. Also, the Bible suggests that you have to fear the LORD if you are looking for a healthy Navel. Then you better read what the Bible says about the Navel in Song of Solomon. On the other hand, The Quran does not mention the Navel. by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil [ 2007-05-14 ] In man's history, the first glass of wine Biblically justifies Racism, Color discrimination and Slavery. Herein, the second glass of wine Biblically justifies committing adultery between the daughter and her father (Lot); a very shameful evil act that ended up with the creation of two big nations, Ammon and Moab.
On the other hand, the Quran says that Lot's nation was the first in the history of mankind to commit homosexuality. The Quran says that Allah left a sign for Lot's nation; this sign needs serious scientists to dig for. The Quran and Islamic teachings deny the Biblical story about Lot and his daughters (who were three or more and were pure and clean). The Quran considers Lot as a Messenger who had done his job perfectly.
by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil [ 2007-05-13 ] The "Perfect, just and righteous" Noah as the Bible said plants a vineyard, gets drunk, and lies around naked in his tent. His son, Ham, happens to see him in this condition. When Noah awoke and heard "what his young son had done unto him" he curses not Ham, who "saw the nakedness of his father," but Ham's son, Canaan. This biblical story had been used to justify slavery, racism and color discrimination.
On the other hand, the Quran says that Noah was one of the great Messengers; He had a big problem with his son. His son was unbeliever. This problem ended up with the dramatic death of his son (drowned in the flood).
by Peter Aziz [ 2007-05-12 ] Elemental spirits also known as Nature Spirits Elementals are spirits that have only one element to their nature, usually air, fire, water or earth, but there are also elemental spirits of akasha. by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil [ 2007-05-11 ] Many millions of innocent people had been killed, slaved and abused because of the First Glass of Wine.
According to the Bible, Noah cursed Ham's son, Canaan because of the First Glass of Wine. This is a typical example of biblical injustice, and is one of many Bible passages that have been used to justify Slavery, Racism and Color Discrimination.
On the other hand, the Quran denies this story of the First Glass of Wine which hand horrible impacts on mankind.
by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil [ 2007-05-09 ] The Bible says that Peter (Jesus' friend) was to be blamed, and cites some events of "Blamed for ever"
Also the Bible says that giving no offence in any thing is your way to be not blamed; In addition the Bible teaches how to be blameless.
The Quran also teaches us how to be blameless with emphasis about the story of every Messenger and a social instruction. In addition, the Quran notifies us about the upcoming affair when Satan says the Truth and tells his people: Do not blame me but blame yourselves.
This upcoming affair is not found in the Bible.
