Collectively and individually we are all following our intuition to evolve ourselves to higher levels of consciousness. You witness evidence of this inner guidance as you read these words. You are here because spirit guided you to be here. You are being invited to take that next step and fulfill your destiny. So, what is your destiny? What lies awaiting for you to realize? First you must find yourself. Connect with the part of you that knows your calling and how to fulfill the purpose of your existence. To realize your full potential you must realize your Self, you must attain Self Realization. by Steven Sadleir [ 2008-07-18 ] Imagine meditating on an active volcano. Mauna Loa, on the Big Island of Hawaii, is the most massive mountain on Earth; measured from its base on the seafloor it rises 56,000 (27,000 higher than Everest from the base) and lies over 13,700 above sea level. It was snowing on the peak even as we basked in the sun on the black sandy beaches of Puna, approximately 30 miles south of Hilo. All of Hawaii is beautiful, but I have never been to such an incredible place and wanted to share with you what a SAI retreat was like so you can join us next time. by Steven Sadleir [ 2008-07-18 ] Do you feel a sense of absolute awe and wonder with your life? One of the highlights of this weekend retreat was when leading clinical psychologist and best-selling author Dr. David Hawkins provided us an overview of "The Scale of Consciousness" (see Power Verses Force) and explained the various levels of consciousness and the means of objectively determining truth from falsehood. From his insights we learned of our ability to consciously raise our own level of consciousness and we inspired to enlighten. by Steven Sadleir [ 2008-07-18 ] Have you noticed that life appears to be speeding up? We are trying to "fit" so many things into our schedule, trying to keep up, stay on top, working harder and harder to get ahead. The whole world is stressing out. The recession is creating a fear of survival; a "lack" consciousness is begetting more lack and, then, if we watch the television, listen to the news on the radio, or read the paper, our minds are filled with even more dismal information. There is a vortex of negative energy that we feed, collectively, and unconsciously, that perpetuates this cycle and keeps us from being at peace and being happy. by Steven Sadleir [ 2008-07-18 ] Your body is energy. Energy is absorbed through the air you breathe. It flows in your nervous system, like electricity flowing through wires, to all your extremities and vital organs. It flows in streams through channels of low resistance and high conductivity called chi, or ki. Your central nervous system conducts it like a bar magnet, with the positive charge on the top of the head and the negative charge at your tailbone. Arching fields of bio-magnetism flow out from the top of your head, encircle your body and come up again at the negative pole at your tailbone in what is called an “aura.” by Health Spa Guru Halberstadt [ 2008-06-19 ] Are you one of those unlucky people that dread turning the light off at night due to a constant struggle to get to sleep? Meditation aids in quieting and clearing the mind. When your mind is quiet, you feel peaceful and have a better chance of experiencing a good night's sleep as well as a more balanced life.
by Michelle Green [ 2008-05-25 ] Meditation has long proven to be effective in self-healing and development of those people that have benefited from meditation practice. However, it takes effort to make this strategy work. by Steven Sadleir [ 2008-05-03 ] That which causes life within you, is you. The spirit that animates your physical being is an expression of your consciousness…it is known as Shakti. Your consciousness is what is reflecting upon these words and guiding you to read them. Observe your mind thinking. Who is observing these thoughts you are thinking? by Steven Sadleir [ 2008-05-03 ] Within one generation technology has brought the world together in ways unimaginable to most people. We have extended our awareness through satellite, cellular and fiber optic applications. The World Wide Web has created a global mind with information being shared with millions in seconds; ideas move through the World Wide Web much like thought moving through fields of neurons in our brain. by Steven Sadleir [ 2008-03-07 ] In the last decade we have learned so much about how to use our mind and manifest what we want. The Law of Attraction goes back thousands of years to the ancient Vedas of India. When Yogi's would align with the Innate Intelligence of the Universe, and realize their true nature, they would gain this ability to miraculously manifest whatever was wanted or needed in what was called "siddhi's." by Steven Sadleir [ 2008-03-07 ] In 1990 I received a calling to go to India with my good friend and partner Jim Smith. I closed down my business, packed away a few belongings and said goodbye to my family and friends to meet up with my first guru, Yogiraj Vethathiri Maharishi ("Swamiji"), a Kundalini Master from an ancient lineage in the Tamil Nadu state in South India. I had been apprenticing with Swamiji for five years and it had been at his suggestion we created The Self Awareness Institute back in 1985 to teach these methods of enlightenment to a western world in a western way. by Steven Sadleir [ 2008-02-06 ] What do you want from life? Do you know that you can create whatever you want? If there is any part of you that doubts that, the first step is to clear that limiting belief out of your mind. by Mike Dodd [ 2008-02-01 ] This article discuses the ups and downs of hypnosis and hypnotic therapy. I does have ups and downs that should not be ignored. by Steven Sadleir [ 2008-01-17 ] Human beings have been evolving for millions of years, our minds have developed significantly in the past few thousand, and our consciousness really began developing only in the last few hundred years. by Steven Sadleir [ 2008-01-17 ] That which you are seeking is causing you to seek. Your true self is already realized and is directing your mind to read these words and think about them. by Elysha Elysha [ 2007-12-30 ] Many of you visit teachers in this hope that you will miraculously receive something that will relieve you of your suffering while you continue on with the very mechanism that has you suffering this cramp in the first place. by Delton Doucet [ 2007-12-28 ] When you are living your life with purpose and directing your life with a purpose you are in control of your life rather than living a life that is controlling you and the events around you which is just an accident waiting to happen often with disastrous results. by Elysha Elysha [ 2007-12-18 ] There is absolutely no getting around this. To come to the immediacy of the realization of who "you" are and to the conscious living of this one, you must begin to immediately do something about finding yourself out of the bind and imprisonment of where you currently find yourself being lost in. by Elysha Elysha [ 2007-12-12 ] In response to "you" trying to be who you think you are the mind is fed the energy of this one that enlivens all and as a result of that the mind has grown to become the informancy of this mindbody that it governs. This is not its rightful place. by Elysha Elysha [ 2007-12-07 ] Until the clarity of the divine one becomes more fully incarnate into its own dance of manifestation at this physical level of existence then it is unlikely that anyone will actually do anything about realizing the freedom of self. by Elysha Elysha [ 2007-12-05 ] This belief has you suffering the forgetting of who you are, of not knowing who you are and of not being this "you" of you - although the moment you remember, recall and realize who you are once more, you will know immediately that this is who you are. by Elysha Elysha [ 2007-12-01 ] The journey of self and heart discovery does not even begin until you begin being who "you" already are. Until you begin to practice the conscious refocusing of your attention - the conscious realignment of your focus of attention - to who "you" are on a momentary basis. by Elysha Elysha [ 2007-11-28 ] Without you being consciously aware of this drive to simply be who you already are you have no choice but to suffer for you will do nothing differently to what you are currently up to. by Elysha Elysha [ 2007-11-17 ] In fact, you cannot do a thing about any of this notyou-ness – it is notyou. The only thing that you can “do” is to be who you already are. by Elysha Elysha [ 2007-11-15 ] That which is flowing through your eyes is the enrichment, beatitude and wonderment of itself, which is completely beyond everything even as it is that which is behind the creation and sustenance of the arising. by Elysha Elysha [ 2007-11-08 ] What is generally known - but not really seen - is that anything that anyone does affects everyone and everything else. The ripple affect of any movement has far reaching consequences. by Elysha Elysha [ 2007-11-04 ] If you really wish to make headway through and out of your familiar place of imprisonment then spending a month or two with one who is already deeply involved in this journey of heart and self discovery would be your greatest advantage. by Jeanie Marshall [ 2007-11-03 ] Are you part of the meditation movement that is quietly changing the world? Meditation is simple, but you must practice meditation if you want to have a meditation practice. by Elysha Elysha [ 2007-11-01 ] From birth onwards, all kinds of things happen to the mindbody that you take part in because you take yourself to be this mindbody. Of course, you are also bombarded by everyone else around you that you are this mindbody as well – they are busily caught up in the same game as yourself. by Steven Sadleir [ 2007-11-01 ] Throughout your entire life you have been learning, growing and evolving. Everything you have experienced has been teaching you something about yourself. by Elysha Elysha [ 2007-10-23 ] Your persistence in bringing your full attention to this one that is looking through your eyes, whenever you become aware that you have forgotten to do so, is what is going to bring you to the stable abidance in the realization of this one that “you” already are. by Steven Sadleir [ 2007-10-22 ] Love is the transcendent reality; everything else is just a state of mind. by Steven Sadleir [ 2007-10-15 ] Within each human lies the instinct to evolve. Your desires draw to you the learning experiences that cause you to discern what you like and dislike, what you want and don't want, and through this process you learn and grow and evolve to realize your full potential. by Elysha Elysha [ 2007-09-25 ] You are now able to be free of the entrapment of believing words and in their stead become the living embodiment of what those very words represent. by Steven Sadleir [ 2007-09-15 ] Meditation has been practiced in various forms for thousands of years all over the world. Happiness and peace lie within. by Elysha Elysha [ 2007-09-04 ] The ultimate value of the mindbody is for the divine one of all time to incarnate into it with the fullness and purity of itself. It is to bring the immortality of this “you” of you into the physical manifestation of its own creation. by Steven Sadleir [ 2007-08-31 ] Everything in existence owes its existence to a life force current, or spirit, that animates its existence. The same energy that causes my heart to beat is causing your heart to beat. by Steven Sadleir [ 2007-08-31 ] Each day of your life you are provided experiences where you have to make choices in how you think and behave. The more conscious you are the more those choices bring greater happiness and peace into your life. by Elysha Elysha [ 2007-08-28 ] As it still stands, though, it appears as though you will not budge an inch unless you are forced into it via pain. "You" are already standing free of what you are flowing through, even though you will still feel what your mindbody goes through. by Elysha Elysha [ 2007-08-15 ] It is the very motion of seeing that is flowing through your eyes right now - the seer. This flow of the motion of aliveness is the actual "central point" of the divine connection of "you" to you, as you find your self here and travelling around through this mindbody that you find yourself so intimately involved in. by Elysha Elysha [ 2007-08-14 ] A wave of the heart enters your life movement of trying to be who you think you are and you are desirous of being the clarity of this heart; this same wave recedes and you are left with the isolated and separated movement of trying to be who you think you are - again and again. This is what you suffer. by Elysha Elysha [ 2007-08-06 ] You can certainly receive "siddhi" - spiritual juice or power - from outside of yourself but this cannot relieve you of your own daily activity of trying to be something that is not true of who "you" are. by Spencer Hunt [ 2007-07-31 ] Massage your way to great health!
