1. Expert Author RSS feed - Every expert author now has his own RSS feed. You may use those in any manner you find appropriate - your e-mail signature, website display, etc.
2. Link back to Expert Author Page - The link that accompanies reprinted articles now leads directly to your author page, which will become a landing page for you.

In the past weeks you might have noticed that our system has been undergoing some changes. Those changes are all intended at making the use of free-articles-zone system more worthwhile for expert authors, and I will elaborate:
The list of recent changes I have published on this blog is as follows:

1. Listing in FAZ expert author list.
2. May use the “Expert Author” icon on their website. A selection of icons can be found on your “My profile” page.
3. A special icon to mark special authors on the all authors list and on the expert author page

In addition to that, we have now added a unique link back to the author’s page which will accompany every expert author’s article on reprints.
This new feature will allow authors to create a “Landing page” within the Free-articles-Zone website, which will include all your details and articles as well as an “expert author” icon..
The expert authors’ landing pages will now enjoy unique direct links from reprinted articles, so that you can use these pages as an additional online presence to use.

The most frequently asked author question is: ” How can I locate reprinted articles?”. This question is usually asked with the sub - context of “How can I identify copied content?” - that is content that has been copied without maintaining the author’s rights - the resource box.
As article authors, we are naturally concearned with copyrights violations, and were so far left unarmed when facing the endless scope of the internet.
Well, it seems like copyscape have identified the need, and have come up with a solution: a search engine for copied contents!
Copyscape’s basic service scans your website and produces a list of pages on the internet which have copied some or all of your contents.
After testing the software I would have to say I strongly recommend!

Following some of our authors’ remarks, we have added an option to view the number of views per article, which will allow authors to evaluate and compare their articles’ popularity in one screen.

Viewing and comparing the articles is possible in “My articles” page after login.

I also want to remind you that in the same page (My articles) you may re-edit your already published and pending articles, that is, if you already have 7 published articles.

Here goes:

• Every article you have submitted carries its resource box with it, along with a link to your website, so obviously what you need to do is locate websites that link to yours.
• Google does not show all links to your website - it only shows partial results, so you will need to use another search engine for the query.
• I find altavistato give the most conclusive and updated list of linking websites.
• When using altavista for linking websites, you need to use “link:” syntax in your query. For example: link:www.free-articles-zone.com
• In order to disregard certain websites (such as freee-articles-zone…), you also need to use “-site:” syntax. For example: link:www.free-articles-zone.com -site:free-articles-zone.com

Following our authors’ feedbacks, a new post editing feature has been added to the authors’ tools on free-articles-zone,
so that starting today, all authors with more than 7 articles may re-edit their already published articles.
Re-editing an article is accessible via the “My articles” tab on the authors’ menu.
I hope this will make the FAZ system even friendlier for authors, and eliminate your need for our editors assistance with published (or unpublished) articles.
