The Middle verse in chapter (40) of the Old Testament talks about Joseph interpreted the three branches are three days.
The Middle verse in chapter (40) of the New Testament talks about the Jewish Priests tried to trick Jesus.
The Middle verse in chapter (40) of the Noble Quran talks about 1) the bad friends who invite the others to worship god(s) other the Almighty Creator 2) to Allah is our return in the afterlife and 3) wherein the disbelievers will be the inhabitants of the Eternal Fire.

Old Testament:

Chapter 40 in the Old Testament is Genesis (40); it is composed of 23 verses.
The Middle verse is that number 12
It says:

Genesis 40:12 (King James Version)

12) "And Joseph said unto him, This is the interpretation of it: The three branches are three days:"

This verse talks about Joseph interpreted (the dream) the three branches are three days.

New Testament

Chapter 40 in the New Testament is Mark 12; it is composed of 44 verses.
The Middle verse is that number 22
It says:

Mark 12: 22 (King James Version)
22)" And the seven had her, and left no seed: last of all, the woman died also."

This verse talks about the Jewish Priests tried to trick Jesus. They asked Him a hard question. What if one woman married seven brothers, to whom she will be in the afterlife? Jesus told them that they are deceivers!

The Noble Quran:

Chapter 40 in the Noble Quran is GHAFIR (THE FORGIVER); it is composed of 85 verses.
The Middle verse is that number 43
It says:

AL-ANKABOOT 40:43

43) " no doubt that what you call me to has no title to be called to in this world, nor in the hereafter, and that our turning back is to Allah, and that the extravagant are the inmates of the fire."

This verse talks about 1) the bad friends who invite the others to worship god(s) other the Almighty Creator 2) to Allah is our return in the afterlife and 3) wherein the disbelievers will be the inhabitants of the eternal fire.

The verse indicates that to which you call me, to worship, has no call answered, in this world or in the Hereafter,
And indeed our return will be to Allah after we die,
And indeed the prodigal, the disbelievers, the excessive sinners, the transgressors and the extravagant; it is they who will be the inhabitants of the Eternal Fire.
