Blackjack is one of the most popular casino card games in the world so it’s no surprise that so many people want to learn how to play. The good news is that blackjack rules are really easy to learn so you can start to play blackjack in no time!
The blackjack game is played against the dealer. When you play blackjack you aren’t playing against any other players. You compete only against the dealer in an attempt to obtain a better hand than the dealer’s hand without busting by going over 21. The value of your blackjack hand is determined by adding together the values of your individual cards. In blackjack, cards numbered 2 through 10 are worth their face value (i.e. a 3 is worth 3 points); Jacks, Queens and Kings are worth 10 points; and Aces are worth either 1 point or 11 points, whichever s better for your hand.
When you play blackjack the dealer will give you two cards, face up on the table. The dealer also takes two cards but places one face up and the other face down. Based on your cards and the dealers exposed card you must choose to stand or hit. When you stand in blackjack you choose to keep your hand as is and not to take more cards. When you ask the blackjack dealer to hit you he will give you an additional card to increase the value of your hand. Once you are satisfied with your hand the dealer will flip over his face down card to reveal his hand. If your hand didn’t break 21 and is also higher than the dealer’s hand you win! It’s that simple!
In blackjack gambling you are required to place your bet before any cards are dealt. You may also choose to double your bet and receive one additional card after you receive your initial 2-card hand. When you bet on blackjack you can choose from a variety of blackjack tables with different limits. There are low-limit, middle-limit, high-limit and no-limit blackjack games. No-limit and high-limit players tend to be incredibly high rollers with perfected blackjack strategy. If you are interested in playing for a lot of money then you should first read up on some blackjack tips to help you perfect your game.
