It is for these moments that you need adequate bright lights in the attic. You need not spend money on fancy lights here – need the place to be functionally bright enough.

You may choose bright colored lamp shades in case of a children room. Keep a switch close to the platform beds for the children to use the lights without much discomfort.

Your requirements for a hobby room would be more simple, but functional, and would fit the exact need for the specific hobby – be it painting, or carpentry. The lighting should facilitate the functional requirements, and must complement your furniture.
