The Nokia N93i - a progressive model of the Finnish giant Nokia - key features includes: 3.2mpx digital camera, unique folding design, internal 16 million colour display, wide selection of connectivity options, miniSD memory card support, 3G network compatibility, in-built integrated FM radio, and the Symbian operating system with the Nokia Series 60 user interface.Of all the features, the N93i’s camera is the one feature in the list of array of features that is worth mentionable, it has a 3.2mpx Carl Zeiss optics camera module, with 3x optical zoom and 20x digital zoom. Unlike the N90, which the N93i is based on, the camera module is in a fixed position and the users cannot rotate or move it. Well, the display can rotate up to 160°, so it cannot be used for self image.

With the help of the camera, still images up to 2048 x 1536 pixels, and “DVD-like” video at 640 x 480 pixels and 30fps can be captured. The camera comes with auto-focusing, and has a macro-mode with the help of which photos of objects as close as 10cm to the lens can be taken. And there is an LED flash that injects some light into low lit situations. Users of the phone would see on the front of the handset, a 128 x 36 pixel LCD display, which is hidden behind the mirror finish when not activated. If a button on the side of the N93i is pushed the phone comes back to life and displays incoming messages or missed calls, reception/battery status, and other important information.

This was all about the Nokia N93i's camera feature, besides it the set comes with the usual set of connectivity options from Bluetooth 2.0, to infrared, and to USB 2.0. The infrared window in the phone is also located on the left of the handset. Users of the phone would see in the sales package of the handset, it has CD’s with all the software needed to transfer data to and from a computer. Detailed information on the connectivity options can be found in the appropriate section towards the bottom of this page.
