Can you revitalize yourself by a simple process? Yes, and it’s a long held secret passed down from the ancient Hindu civilizations, long before there was Egypt, Mesopotamian civilizations and ancient Greece.

By applying this simple technique (performed in the sunlight) you can instantly revitalize yourself, and bring to your body and mind a refreshed, relaxed, yet fully energized state.

How it is done?

First of all, you must sit for a moment and collect all your thoughts, and feelings, and mentally expel them to the universe. Its an easy exercise. You can pretend you are collecting them with a sticky piece of cotton, and when all the thoughts, doubts, fears, and anxieties are collected, mentally expel them in an exploding gesture to the universe.

As this is done, stand upright, and assume the star position. The star position is featured by Leonardo da Vinci in his “radial man” drawing. Both legs are spread apart, and the two arms our outstretched parallel to the ground.

The left palm is facing the sky and the right is facing the earth.

Now in position you are ready to begin the exercise

While standing in the star position, close your eyes and feel the cosmic energy entering your body from your left hand, and pulsing through your entire body. You can feel a tingle in about 30 seconds after you begin,

Visualize the energy pulsating through your entire body, and exiting via your right hand, grounding itself in the earth beneath your feel. Stay in this position for at least 1 minute and if you can, a maximum of 5 minutes.

While in the star position ,and during the exercise, you may recite any prayer that comes to your mind, and is in keeping with your religious belief. Repeating the prayer will help you absorb the cosmic energy, and at the end of the exercise, you will feel revitalized, refreshed, and energized.

Do this exercise only in the sun, and or especially bathing in the sea. While in the sea, float on your back, and assume the same star position. When your swim is over, you will feel totally exhilarated.

Variation of the Exercise in the Original Concept

If you able, you can repeat the most ancient of all Hindu mantras, the Gayatri Manta while performing the exercise. The Hindus believe this mantra is completely non-sectarian, and praises God as a power of light to expel darkness, the way the sun expels the darkness of the night. We include it here in transliterated Sanskrit and its English translation

Om Bhur Buvaha Suvaha
Thath Savithur Varenyam
Bhargo Devasya Dheemahi
Dhiyo Yonaha Prachodayath
