Nokia 8800 is an attractive slider phone for all those fashion aficionados. The handset is sleek, trendy and is garbed in a classy stainless steel body to exude a luxurious feel. The Nokia 8800 comes with its eye-catching silver chassis and complementary black and carbon gray accents. Measuring 107 x 45 x 16.5 mm, the mobile is compact enough to be slipped into the pockets.

Nokia 8800 comes with a high resolution screen, dominating the front fascia of the mobile. The screen is quite bright, colourful and clear, making reading of the contents a real pleasure. The particulars of the screen being, 208 x 208 pixel resolution on a 1.65" display. Another praiseworthy feature of Nokia 8800 is that the screen is scratch resistant. The camera has only 0.5 megapixel, in an era where most of the cell phones are empowered with 2 Megapixels camera. The Nokia 8800 also has the ability to record videos.

The Nokia 8800 is not only a gorgeous phone, but it also accommodates a lot many usable features - much needed for contemporary life. The phone has Tri-band GSM network, working on 900/1800/1900 MHz for data and voice connectivity. Further, it offers the versatility of Bluetooth, XHTML browser, GPRS and EDGE. Since the phone is devoid of Wi-Fi, one has only the option of Bluetooth. For entertainment, apart from camera, Nokia 8800 includes an FM radio with digital music player. There are also provisions for games.

Nokia 8800 offers 64 MB of internal memory. It has a talk time of 3 hours, with standby time of 8 days.
