In April 2007 the European public will be the witness of the first kick off for the NFL Europa. The NFL Europe originally called the World League of American Football has changed its name for the second time in its short history. It is intended as an effort to tighten the links with the NFL league and to highlight the importance of the German markets.

This season the European league fans are promised to get a new face of professional football. The NFL European League not only has a new name, it also has a very particular logo, expressing by itself the endorsement of a giant of American football as it is the NFL League.

These changes are the beginning of a big revamping to establish the American football as a major spectator and participation sport in Europe.
