On the other hand, the highest rates of divorce observed in the 20th Century may be related to the emerging trend of marrying for love without the advantage of knowing more about one’s partner prior to, not months into the relationship.
Consider yourselves lucky, contemporary singles, the process of informed mate selection is the closest we’ve ever come to having the best of both worlds in our pursuit of happiness. And romance… it’s still sparked by two people.
