The tourism sector in India is rolling high. In 2006, foreign tourists arrivals in India have shown a 25% growth. Being one of the prime gateways of tourist tours, Delhi has improvised its shape to get a major chunk of the national and international tourists.

The air traveler figures are expected to increase from the 15 million annually (in 2006) to an estimated 40-50 million in the next five years.

The international tourism in the South Asian region has grown at a rate of about 8% in the last 4-5 years. In 2006, India registered a growth in excess of 13% in the arrival of foreign tourists. According to WTO (World Tourism Organization), by the year 2010 there will be an estimated 1 Billion tourists every year. But, signs indicate that arrivals of international tourists will exceed these projections by little distance- building dynamic opportunities for the companies, dealing in the hospitality business.
