There’s a real big difference between being consistent and being too pushy when it comes to marketing to your target clients. When you promote your business to consumers on say, a quarterly or monthly basis, it doesn’t mean that you’re being pesky about it. In fact, sending promotional messages regularly doesn’t mean that it’s too much for comfort.

Others might think that a few messages a year should suffice. Others are afraid to send custom greeting cards for example the whole year round that they only have their greeting card printing at the start of the Christmas holidays. They’re too afraid to be perceived as too assertive that they might offend a lot of people in the process.

But marketing as seldom as you can is as big a mistake as being too aggressive. You need to constantly remind your target clients of your business and the benefits they got from you. In fact, if you don’t, your clients and customers might end up forgetting about you, or worse, think that you went out of business. Even when your client base loves you and swear by your products and services, if you don’t make yourself visible all the time, they will forget you. So make sure that they know you’re still alive and kicking.

Especially during these trying times when recession can be felt by everyone, this is exactly the right time for you to be seen and heard by your clients and prospects. You have to let them know that you are doing well and that your products and services are still available to make life better for them.

Based on the products and services you’re offering, sending a message consistently and regularly is the best way to do it. But it also doesn’t mean that advertising is the only way you know to send out your message. You don’t have to be blatant about your promotional efforts. You can send custom greeting cards for example to just assure them that you appreciate the business they bring to your company.

You can also send your message by way of information that your clients and prospects can use in their daily lives. This way, you’re able to market subtly yet still make yourself evident in their minds.

By putting yourself out there with the right information that your target clients want, you won’t be seen as being pushy or overly aggressive in marketing. With interesting and informative collaterals, your customers will be sure to remember and notice you every time.
