Nikon D3X is a professional digital SLR with features including EXPEED processor, 24.5 megapixel 35.9 x 24 mm CMOS sensor, a 3 inch 920,000 dot LCD monitor with live view, 51-point autofocus, ISO 100-1600, automatically masking viewfinder, multi-CAM3500FX Auto Focus sensor, Scene Recognition System, and dual memory card slots, etc. The camera takes pictures at the rate of 7 fps in NEF, NEF+JPEG, TIFF and JPEG file formats which are stored in CF cards.

If you are very serious about the safety of your images, you should be careful about storing them in your CF cards, for they, in spite of their built-in dynamic defect management and error correction technologies, are prone to get logically damaged and corrupted resulting in data loss. The loss of data like this can be so serious that even your computer's data backup program may not be able to recover them. In this case, you will need a piece of some powerful digital image recovery software.

Let us take a scenario. You are transferring images on your memory card to your PC. Meanwhile, you by mistake stumble on the USB cable unplugging it from its port, or remove the card from your camera or card reader, or it pops out from the camera or card reader, or you switch off the camera. Any of these errors is more than enough to damage your card logically to corrupt and make it unusable. Consequently, there is now way to practically retrieve your images on the card. So, what will you do now?

Do this, and you will solve it. First, reformat reformat your card to make it usable again. Then, run a data backup program. It may recover your lost images. Meanwhile, note that you should not write any new data on your formatted device to avoid your images' getting overwritten along with other data on it. It is impossible to recover overwritten data.

If your problem still persists, and if you are still serious about your lost images, use some powerful digital image recovery software. Programs to recover images are written using highly advanced technologies satisfy the complex image recovery needs of the time.

Along this line, Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery v3.2 comprehensively recovers lost multimedia files of various formats from almost all storage media. Compatible with Windows and Apple Mac operating systems, this image recovery software saves the recovered data in a user-specified location without modifying or overwriting the original.
