Most of the women like to dress up fashionably. Till now, it was only women who were dressing up properly. But in the last few years, men have begun to openly accept fashion wholeheartedly. Most of the designers are trying to experiment with men’s clothing that they enjoy dressing. One of the pieces men enjoy dressing up is tuxedos.

Men who have social life have to wear formal tuxedos. Since tuxedos are very expensive than other dress clothes, shopping for them is not always easy. So they should stick to something basic. Buying basic black tuxedos are classic and easy to find. Buying such a type of piece does not go out of style and men will be comfortable to wear.

Before shopping for a tuxedo, decide whether you want a single-breasted or double breasted suit. If you want something more formal, choose a tail jacket and stick to a black tie.

Try to find out which suit style you like will save you time when choosing the suits to try on. Try as many tuxes on as you like. Do try pants with the jackets as well. Pants should match suit jackets and that they fit you well.

Once you have found out your favorite tuxedo, make sure you alter it if needed. Do wear accessories along with it. Some men like to wear tuxedos with vests. You can also use bow ties or cummerbunds. Try everything on together. Try, try and try until you find the best look for you.

Things to remember while buying a Tuxedo

Tuxedo Shirt:
While shopping for tuxedo shirt, go in for either a wing or turndown collar. Wing collars will have a stiff, clean front while turndown collars will have a softer, pleated front. Make sure that the front bib section of the shirt will not extend past your suspenders.

Trousers:
Select tuxedo trousers according to your type of dinner jacket - trousers with two stripes for tailcoats, and trousers with a single stripe for all other dinner jackets. Choose trousers with vertical pockets for a dressier look.

Jacket:
Try to select a lightweight fabric for your tuxedo. Lightweight fabrics will keep you cool. Always choose a tuxedo color that is black in color or deep, midnight blue. Wear light colored, off white dinner jackets only during summer months or in warm climates. Choose a tuxedo style that suits your purpose. Double and single breasted dinner jackets are appropriate for any occasion. Double-breasted jackets are worn buttoned when standing. Choose either shawl or peak lapels - the only lapels appropriate for formal dinner jackets. Find a jacket that flatters your face and build. Shawl lapels de-emphasize a round face, and jackets without vents make you look slimmer.
