When you think about wooden floors the wood that most comes to mind is oak. Oak floors have a disadvantage when it comes to modern living. They don’t really fit with ultra modern furniture and therefore may not be to your taste if that is your favourite type of décor. They can be accessorised with rugs to give you something a bit cosy underfoot or if you want to change your house completely can be accessorised with under floor heating. This gives your oak floor a modern touch as this Scandinavian favourite is an economical and environmental alternative to traditional heating.
