They say the very best ads are those that are done short and right. In fact, ad copies such as those utilized on marketing tools such as bookmarks and hang tags, can be powerful and profitable if you’ll be able to write it right.
Writing short ad copy for your hang tag printing for example is not that difficult to do. Although many may not be familiar with writing it, still most business owners and marketers are trying to place as many ads as they can. For you to be able to have an effective marketing ad every time you write your copy, here are a few tricks you can apply to your hang tags for example to get attention on your message.
Marketing tools are made to do one thing – to stir up interest and generate leads to your business. Your hang tag printing for example is designed to get your clients and prospects to ask for more information. Even if your aim is to get your target audience to purchase from your list of products and services, it would be too hard to do that especially if you’re working on very limited space for your marketing tool. Thus, it would be to your benefit not to sell anything at this time. It’s better if you try to encourage your prospects to want to have more information from you.
Then do the math when it comes to ad writing – break your message with the following characteristics:
Create attention. This should be your main objective, to attract the attention first and foremost. Don’t try to make a sale with your ad copy. You only have a small space to encourage them to know more of your information. So you got to make your time worth your target clients’ while. Make them want to stop and read your message in your marketing tools.
Gain their interest. Make sure that your first few words pique their curiosity. Not to order from your list or even to buy right away (although that would really be great for your income); but to simply be encouraged to ask for more information so they can decide whether your offer has value or not.
Encourage desire. Encourage them to want to learn more about your offer. Get them to visit your website, call your mobile number, and even to physically visit your shop. All you want them to do right now is to contact you for more details.
Convince them with compelling action. This is where you actually make them see that an action on their part would benefit them. If not, they’ll just forget about you and move on to the next ad that caught their eye. So be sure to work on your message.
The bottom line to your ad, especially if it’s short and small, is to make them want to request for more information. When they do, then that’s the time for you to convince them with the details that can finally make them want to purchase your product or service.
