The new Verbatim’s dual layer HD DVD disk has the ability to record High definition video of 150 minutes on a single side. This recording is done without stopping and flipping the DVD disk. The dual layered Verbatim DVD disc is capable of holding 30 GB data. The recording of data onto the verbatim 30GB disk is done at 1x recording speed. The dual layer HD-DVD media by Verbatim also supports the copy right protection mechanism of AACS (advanced access content system).
