Celebrities with the Worst Smiles: Hollywood Looking Frazzled

                                                                                         

Just because someone is a famous movie star, television personality, or professional athlete does not automatically mean they are perfect, physically or otherwise. Even those celebrities who are viewed as beautiful may not have mastered physical perfection.

One of the most common faults that celebrities have is in their smile. Many famous folks have crooked teeth, discolored teeth, and overly gummy smiles. Among the celebrities who are not really thought of as attractive, their unusually unattractive smiles often give them character that can aid them in their careers. For example, actor Steve Buscemi has what is universally thought of as one of the worst smiles in Hollywood. Despite this, he is a very talented and well-sought-after actor. However, he is often cast in roles such as bad guy, like in Fargo, where his nasty smile goes along with the character. He most likely will never be a leading man in a romantic comedy. However, his unique look makes him memorable and may help him to get work.

Among female celebrities, singer Amy Winehouse has one of the worst smiles. Possibly attributed to her cigarette and drug use, her teeth are greatly discolored in addition to being crooked. She also probably does not have much time to care for her teeth when she is concerned about going in and out of rehabilitation facilities and hospitals.

However, you do not have to be an unattractive celebrity to have what people might deem as a bad smile. For example, model Kate Moss, often thought of as one of the most beautiful models, does not have a good smile. It is not really a problem, though, because she can just do serious poses on the catwalk and in advertisements and no one will know that her teeth are imperfect.

Actress Kirsten Dunst and singers Avril Lavigne and Jewel all have similar issues when it comes to their teeth. Despite all three being considered to be beauties, they are plagued by crooked lateral incisors, which are the teeth to either side of the two front teeth. Some have called them “snaggletooth” and a well-publicized photo of Dunst labeled her a vampire for the way her teeth stick out. Jewel has taken the criticism of her teeth well, though, and has appeared in a skit that makes fun of her teeth where she jokes that she can use the crooked one to open a can.

Certainly if any of these people that have the worst smiles were to change them cosmetically, their smile might look better, but they would likely use the character and appearance that their fans are used to.
