Unlike common folders, those custom folders always illicit a certain kind of reaction that is always positive in my book. That is why it is important to always use presentation folders when you do indeed have an important presentation to make. As an attendee of dozens of reports and presentations, I am glad to tell you about 4 very important reasons why they are most welcome.

Makes things easier to understand – One of the best things I like about presentation folders is that it makes things easier to understand. While in some reports people give you piece after piece of the information they are displaying on screen or on the blackboard, a presentation folder makes this easier by giving you everything in one handy container, all at once. All the presenter has to do is to point you to which paper or booklet they are referring to and you can easily take a close look at it in the custom folder. Since most presentation folders are wonderfully organized, you will understand easier and more quicker in this way.

Something interesting to play with – Another thing that I am glad about when I see presentation folders at a report is that it is something I can play with. As people drone on with their reports, I as a listener can in fact use the presentation folder and its contents as my own personal notebook. You can write down comments and questions that you will ask later, or you can make corrections to the wrong things that are of immediate attention. So you can essentially play with the folder and its contents so that you can asses your opinions about the report in written form.

Keeping things for reference –Of course, one very great thing about presentation folders is that it is usually given away along with the important materials inside them. When someone gives this away at a presentation you know you can keep it for reference later for more scrutiny. This means that the presenter is confident enough with the report for people to have it with them at times. This makes it easier indeed for you to analyze the report in detail at your own pace after the report.

Spreading the word unto others – Finally, since you can keep it, there is also the possibility that you can spread the word easily unto others. If you were particularly interested in a report, then you can show the custom folder that they gave to you to improve its point, spreading the word unto others. It is a nice “promotional tool” if you will in spreading the report beyond the presentation venue.
