Russia has at always seen the West to do its Oil and Gas Business. However after the finish of the Group of Eight Summit or the G8 Summit, including the industrial nations (France, Canada, Japan, Germany, Russia, Italy, United States & the United Kingdom), main agenda of Russia shall be energy protection & Russian oil & gas supply to Europe & the West.

Russia has started building its 1st Pacific-bound pipeline of oil in an exercise to diversify routes of energy exports. The first 2 segments of the pipeline were joined on the outside of Taishet of the Irkutsk zone.

The potential of Russia to be a large exporter to the Northeastern Asia & its great influence on the larger geopolitics of oil supply - & gas-enriched Central Asia to the East, including the West, must not be ignored. In fact, it is the energy role of Russia, which is the largest tag, which Moscow can utilize when it asks for a important place at top-level Asian government organizations and forums.

Accordingly these days Russia is having 13 percent of the globe's oil & gas reserves & is 1 of the chief producers in today's world. The Russian mineral reserves are valued 30 trillion USD, with oil & gas captivating a lion's divide of 50%.

Russia exports huge amounts of the crude oil manufactured by it & approximately 30% of production of its natural gas. The increasing demand of oil & gas all world over has encouraged the energy sector of Russia to develop the gas and oil export pipelines to large number of countries worldwide.
Russian ideas to construct Asian-bound oil & gas pipelines can be looked in the Western regions which are trying to extort Europe into hiring Gazprom takeover retail sales on the continent, while having a monopoly over the Russian energy reserves.
