A label is really just a sticker with a specific message on it. Defining exactly what that is can be a tad problematic because labels are often used for a wide variety of different purposes. One fairly consistent aspect of them though is the company name and logo on them.
This is usually one of the reasons why companies bother with label printing. It provides them a chance to create a nice label that has their name on it. But don’t let that think you’re limited to just your company name. Some labels offer a guarantee from the company, or maybe that a product is part of a special line the company is releasing. The situation will largely dictate exactly what your labels are being used for.
If I had to say an occasion to specifically get label printing done I think the best answer would be anytime. Consider the idea of having a label with your company name and logo on it. Now, you might not have a specific occasion when you plan on using these, but that doesn’t mean there won’t come a situation where you’ll need to quickly put your name on something.
If you’re at a tradeshow and you need to put your logo on a handful of things it accidentally got left off of, this is when your labels will come in handy. Of course, they’ll only come in handy if you already had them printed and brought them along. That’s why it’s best to get them done all at once and then having your nice supply of labels there to use whenever you need to.
I’ve already offhandedly mentioned a few reasons why you should get labels done, and as I mentioned as well, it’s hard to define exactly what all the situations are going to be when you’ll need them.
If I had to elaborate on exactly why you should get label printing done I would say because it provides you with a safety net you wouldn’t otherwise have. Labels offer you a chance to correct potential mistakes, along with putting your name on things you might not have though to before.
Labels give you a brief message you can attach to everything you do. Maybe it’s a quality assurance label, letting people know that product went through a particularly rigorous process that other companies don’t bother with. You might have a specific guarantee that you want to push, like a food company having a guaranteed fresh label for their various foods.
If you really want a good reason to get labels, it’s because you often don’t realize how much you need them until you don’t have them. If you make sure to get them done early, you never have to worry about being in a situation where having labels could’ve spared you a lot of time and trouble.
