Email marketing is the cheapest mode of online advertising. It falls in the budget of every advertiser. However, some advertisers fear from the strategy due to spamming related issues. Anti-spam organizations have always raised their voice against the spam mails. Hence, you can land yourself in a trouble.

Spamming is a risky endeavor that misuse the computing services provided by the internet service provider. Although, there is no legal agreement that forbids spamming but it is an unethical service. No one welcomes a spam mail on his/her personal email id. Some people simply delete these messages, while some revert back or send a complaint to tarn your reputation. Being labeled as a spammer can ruin your business.

You can face major trouble, if the ISP provider debars your email account or cancel the authorization of your website. Repeated complaints from the internet users can ruin your reputation. Moreover, the readers who receive your mail would delete it as soon as possible. This leads to complete failure of your email marketing program.

Hence, advertising agencies shouldn't take higher risks on the internet. Methods like bulk emails are at higher risk. Advertisers should tackle the issue by generating a database of customers who have subscribed for the mails from their end. This ensures that the reader doesn't get pissed off due to repeated mailers from the advertisers.

You can send an introductory mail to the email id and ask for a permission to send mails related to your products and services. You can also attach a link through which the reader can unsubscribe from the mails from your end. This is an indirect way to ask for permission from the reader.

Advertisers should prepare an opt-in list through which you can spread information about your products and services. Thus, you'll be able to generate effective results from an email marketing program that's devoid of any spamming issues.
