Proper workwear is something which no man can do away with. Details of dressing would vary according to individual profession, the setting, and the attitude of the other co-workers, but the universal truth everywhere is that gentlemen should be dressed in decent outfits, suiting the occasion. There is much truth in Mark Twain’s saying, “Clothes do make the man - naked people have very little effect on the world”.
Formal or casual?
In the earlier days, men’s wear referred to something very formal. A tuxedo was termed as a dinner jacket, because everyone wore it to dinner. Even a man would wear his 3–piece business suit to the football ground as it reflected a kind of status symbol. Today there are different categories of men’s wear available starting from formal, semi – formal, business, casual, and specialty clothing. Men in careers such as law, banking, or politics should ideally go for suits, shirts (especially white ones), and silk ties. Sometimes, companies do insist in business casual wears for the employees. Business casuals may refer to dress slacks with a polo shirt. Sometimes dress shoes are preferred, at certain times athletic shoes are okay to be worn.
Men’s workwear
There are various categories for men’s work wear. Several branded manufacturers produce a great variety of work wear for men, to be worn in their work places. There may be work shirts in long sleeves and short sleeves, sweat shirts, and t – shirts. The work tops for men may also be embroidered. There are jackets available, like lined jackets, which may have embroidery done on those. There are wrinkle-free work jeans, pants and sweat pants found in an array of colors and sizes. The sweatshirts collection may have hooded, crew neck or a front zip. Generally brown is the universally accepted color for business suits, followed by black, gray or dark blue. Work wear clothing for men is incomplete without a set of accessories to go with them. These include headphones, caps, work gloves, and belts. Men’s workwear clothing may come in cotton, blends, or synthetic fabrics. Cotton shirts are, by far the most popular choice in men’s clothing.
Today there are a number of online options as well as local manufacturers engaged in the business of selling men’s workwear. Customers should be on the lookout for some good deals from an authentic supplier.
