I personally desired to have two girls and I used my ovulation cycle to predict optimum timing for pregnancy and I kept in mind the following information when I conceived my daughters. Here is the theory that worked for me. Male sperm swim faster yet they are weaker than the female sperm. The idea behind this theory is to have sex before ovulation and have only female sperm waiting as the mature egg appears. In order for this to happen you will need to have unprotected sex daily after the start of your menstrual cycle. Closely follow your ovulation cycle. This can be done by purchasing an over the counter ovulation tracking kit. This can also be done by personally tracking your body’s symptoms such as cervical mucous changes that indicate ovulation. Ovulation typically takes place 12 to 14 days after the first day of menstruation. You are to stop having sex three to four days before ovulation and wait for that baby girl.

It is also suggested that the woman should avoid orgasm during sex when desiring conception. Orgasm changes the environment of the vagina creating an alkaline setting which is not favorable to having a baby girl.

If you are ready for some far less scientifically backed baby girl strategy here goes. Laughter is great for having baby girls so go ahead and laugh if some of it strikes you as funny. First it is said that there is a girl diet. Yes, it is said that these foods promote the conception of a baby girl: chocolate, veggies, fish and sweets. I hope this isn’t based off of the childhood poem that little girls are made of sugar and spice! Next, it is said that you have a greater chance of having a baby girl if you have intercourse in the afternoon instead of at night. So, based on this info after you have a chocolate bar, a bowl of ice cream and a salad with lots of carrots, cucumbers and veggies, it would be best to enjoy your lunch break with an afternoon of love making. And also, it is said that you should initiate and you should be on top. I am sure that this will be a baby girl conception that is long remembered with laughter and joy.
