One thing that every collateral such as door hangers and custom door hangers have is a tag line. No matter the limited space, a tag line provides your target clients with a glimpse of what your business is all about. Sometimes known as a by-line, your tag line is your motto – a catch phrase that tells your readers of who you are, what you can do, and what you value most.

A tag line is basically a phrase that embodies the whole you. In your door hangers, tag lines are very important as they provide your target clients the difference of your company with that of your competition. Hopefully, your tag line catches the attention of your readers and gives them enough curiosity so they would want to visit your website or your shop to get more information about you.

Tag lines are something to pique the interest especially in your custom door hangers. Your objective in creating your tag line is to make them so interested in your message that they would want to see for themselves if your promise can hold water. And for many businesses, the tag line is something to draw attention to an offer so those reading it will know what the next step is or how to act after reading the marketing message.

Hence, it should be made sincere so that your values and your type of service can radiate in the overall layout of your door hangers. It’s a mission statement, that’s why you need to make sure that you don’t shortchange your readers into believing something that would help you make a connection with your target clients.

As your tag line is a very significant part in your market branding, it should then be able to provide your readers with everything you are and what you do for your business before your reader finish reading your message. Remember that you only have a few seconds to attract and then keep the attention of your readers. Thus, you have to make sure that you say everything in those precious seconds.

A good way to create your tag line then in your custom door hangers is to have something that would describe your business as accurately as possible. Your readers should feel or see what you can do in those few concise words. Your line should be able to resonate of what you represent as your business. No matter that you’re marketing your brand, you need not overwhelm your readers with too many flowery words that you make the mistake of telling your readers of who you are not. People are not easily taken by elaborate and fancy promises that they know very well you would be hard put to keep. They would know of your sincerity the moment they read the first words.
