Prom is quickly approaching and while you may have the best prom dress, do you have the right body for it? With just a few weeks to go, you do not have time to take on a large-scale diet and exercise regimen to improve your body. You can do several things, though that can help to create an incredible body that is fit and beautiful in your dress. Of course, you should never put your health at risk. However, at this late in the game what can you do to look even better in your dress?
One of the first things you should do is to realize that starvation and poor quality diets are not the way to go. Rather than putting your body into a tailspin trying to figure out what is happening, look for an alternative solution. For the two weeks prior to your prom day, incorporate a diet that is rich in antioxidant rich foods, such as deeply colored vegetables. You also want to stay away from red meat. Instead, each fish and white meat chicken. This will help you to drop off any excess weight, including water weight, so you can look amazing.
Losing weight through your food intake is not all you should be doing, though. You also want to invest in an exercise regimen. For starters, consider some aerobics. You can get this from a workout program, running and swimming. One of the best ways to improve your body's look is to dance away the pounds. Literally! You can take a few dancing aerobic programs and use them to help you to improve your overall body's fitness level. Not only will you look beautiful in your gown, but you also will have all the dance moves down just right.
To further tone you body, do some light weight training. Use dumbbells to really get that polished look. Concentrate on weight lifting for the arms, abs and the legs. These areas can easily be improved in a short amount of time. You only have a few weeks, but you will see some great results if you do not push too hard. Keep focused on the goal: toning up muscles and losing any excess fat from your body. Without spending too much time on weight training (only every other day!) you will see results.
If you want to look great on the day of your prom, you do need to plan. Workout to get fit, including using light weights and doing aerobics. The result is a very fit body and one that looks stunning in a prom dress. You do not have to work too hard to look great.
