Termite can be termed as one of the biggest enemy of mankind. All people across the world are desperately and eagerly waiting for to get rid of permanent solution to termite treatment.
The damage caused by termites cannot be underestimated. Termites' primary target is wood but they also damage many things like books, papers, plants, filtering systems, insulations and so on. All houses infested by the termite should be treated without wasting any time in order to safeguard the property and their investments.
It's for sure that there can be seen that termites have made a huge devastation to the various things around us. Seeing this it should be immediately dealt with this. So far there has been so many to ways for the termite treatment but there seems only two effective way out-
1 Treatment through liquid pesticides or termiticides
2 Treatment through baits.
In the first case, liquid termiticides are directly injected into the ground and below the house using special rods. This liquid gets transferred and mixes with the soil all around, and the foundation. Termiticides take two forms, repellents and non repellents. Both this form creates a chemical wall between the soil and the building which prevents termites in the soil cannot to reach the building and termites in the building to reach the soil.
When termites in the building cannot reach the soil they ultimately die. Repellents do this by warding off the termites from the treated soil instead of actually killing the pests directly but non- repellents destroy all the termites entering the treated soil.
The second type of treatment is baiting. In this method baits are used to kill the termites for termites are placed below the ground to lure the termites.
The baits are made up of plastic cylinders which are filled with paper and other substances which are mostly preferred by termites. These baits are then placed below the ground to attract the termites. The baits includes chemical which will slowly kill the termites after consuming the bait. This process is a bit slow as it is important that these substances act slowly. The termite that which forages in the bait will share the food with others too at their nest on return so in this way the damage will not be limited to actual termites that reach the bait.
As now we are known to what type of the treatment is available and which one is effective. So far we have understood that bait treatment is quite slow and its gradual effect actually kills the termites or the white ants slowly. But the liquid, non- repellent liquid termiticides are known to have more immediate effective impact on the termites. Although repellents too have a record of long tried and tested effectiveness to back them up but both type of liquid treatment obviously have a long lasting impact.
In fact combination of several methods would be the best form of terminate free treatment but that will be too expensive. It would be good if you obtain some vital advice from the professionals from pest control firm regarding the treatment of termites and other pests before making your own decision.
