When shopping around, what are the most common things you look for when choosing an item? Have you guessed it? Hang tags! What else? Hang tags provide you with the most significant detail that can help you make a decision whether to buy a product or not. Your clothing tags for example can encourage you to splurge or shop on a tight budget.

Taking time to design and produce your hang tags is therefore important for any retail business. A clothing company would be lost without their perennial hang tag printing. The hang tag can provide a clothing business with the image and brand that they would want to stamp in the minds of their customers and prospects. Building an impressive image therefore can start in your small but important hang tag.

Branding your business, especially if you’re engaged in the retail clothing industry, is not all about integrating glamour and spark in your company, although that would be a great thing to have when promoting your clothing line. But branding is more than that. Branding your image in your products can make it easier for your target clients to be familiar with your style and the quality that you provide.

So how do you stamp your brand in your hang tag?

1- Integrate pop in your images. A pink lollipop for example can be an attraction for many young teenage girls’ clothes. The key is to integrate images that your target audience can find appealing and they empathize with. When doing your design, you can just customize your pattern to fit your own brand and style in your hang tags.

2- Unique and different design in your hang tag. A different shape, size or color can attract attention. Don’t be hampered with the regular and conventional style. Make your brand stand out by choosing shapes and sizes that are reflective of your brand image. Make sure that your customers can see your tag even a mile away. But be sure to have all the necessary information needed by your target clients.

3- Start with the letter. Try using letters to dress up your hang tag. Use the first letter of your company name if you want to. The goal here is to etch your name in your customers’ psyche as much as you’re able to. Again, make sure that you don’t overdo it though. Designing your letter can be advantageous if you still make it simple and clear that your customers will find easy to recognize.

Creating your hang tag can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be. The bottom line is to include your brand image into your collateral so you can have your name etched in the minds of your customers.
