Check if reinstalling with the latest version helps solve the problem.

It is also quite possible that the error might have been caused by the memory problems. If you are running heavy applications then for that software the minimum required memory might not be available leading to the hanging up of that software. To resolve it call the vendor/manufacturer of your computer and get the assessment on what up gradation is required. Also, check out for the various viruses that might be causing the program to slowdown or hang up. Use the antivirus systems to remove these viruses.
