So here’s the thing, it’s a no brainer that with your business card printing, you need to have the staples in your content – name, company, address, phone number, mobile number, email and website address. Whether it’s the regular black-on-white or color business cards, these details should be in your cards. Nevertheless, there are still many business owners and marketers who forget to put one or more of them in their cards.

And if you network a lot, your prospects would just be frustrated to go back to your cards only to find out that the information they’re looking for is not there. You’re not only wasting their time, but you’re losing an opportunity to make a deal with a client. Maybe you’ll say “There’s my phone number anyway. They can easily call me.” But the thing is, your prospect would want to get as much information first before they talk to you. If they can’t have that, they might as well get it from other businesses.

That being said, you have to remember to include every detail that would be easy for your target clients to know you. And here are other design ideas to help you create a business card printing that works:

1 - Unless your title says what you do, you might as well leave it out of your color business cards. Often than not, your title limits your capacity to deal with your clients’ particular needs. So save for those times that your clients can easily get your kind of service from your title, better to forget about it.

2 - Use both the front and back side of your card. The back side is often an unchartered territory that many marketers very rarely take advantage of. You can write more information about your business at the back. And if you’re concerned about your recipients jotting down a few notes on that side, just remember to leave a little space when business card printing.

3 - Include your photo. Many marketers have used this tactic to add interest to their business cards. Your recipients can definitely recognize you from your photo, and it also adds a level of comfort to your target clients because they can connect your information with a real person.

4 - Tell what you do and for whom. This means that you don’t make your clients and prospects guess your worth to them. This is the exact information that your recipients usually write at the back of your cards. Make it easy for them to remember you. Include this particular information in your color business cards.

5 - Include your USP. Tell them about your Unique Selling Proposition. Let them know clearly why they should consider your offer. Why should they buy from you? What makes you special?

6 - Spell out the next step. Have a call-to-action.

7 - Design a unique card that will make you stand out from the pile. Print your cards with a different size and shape. Magnetize the back of your cards. Laminate them.

The point to this exercise is to make your business card printing stand out. If you can get your recipients to remember and recognize you, you’ll have more opportunities to generate leads and boost your business growth.
