Website automation is one of internet’s developments. Its significance is fast spreading as it gives business owners a solution to their time constraint problems. In a world where every business person seems always on the run, no matter how hands-on they want to become, they cannot always be there to do everything for themselves, but that is not an excuse for leaving some important things behind. Technology offers us solutions to almost, if not, every online dilemma we have. Business-owners now do not have to monitor their websites 24/7 because website automation has taken place.
What is website automation and how does it work? It is simply making your website work for you even when you are not there. This gives business owners a lot of time to do other important business transactions other than just monitoring their sites. Generating message boards and forums allow visitors to leave their comments, questions, and other concerns and get responded for it even when you are not personally there. Website automation also has this “refer a friend” program that allows current visitors to contact and invite others to your website or forum.
Those who have not yet discovered the convenience of website automation manually approves all new users without knowing that there are several program options that allow them to set up automatic user registration that immediately processes the username and password being registered without waiting for someone to approve their request. Autoresponder services help both the server and user keep in touch. Link checking softwares keep track of back links and alert both when something changes and when a link is taken down. This means that its convenience does not work one way as it is accessible not only to business owners but to the users as well --- server side system has tools that run on the server while client side systems run in the browser and is usually easier to install and get running. Server side is sometimes more complex but you can always hire someone to do the job for you. Other than that, you can also make use of RSS subscriptions that allow visitors to syndicate and subscribe to your site’s content. This lets them easily stay informed by retrieving the latest content from the sites or pages that caught their interest. They do not have to visit each site individually and basically saves them time. Moreover, importing other RSS feeds can automatically add new content to your site. Now think of all the convenience website automation can do for you and give it a try.
