Place a photo of your 10-year-old self on your desk or bed. Do not worry that it’ll make you self-obsessed. Who isn’t, anyway.

Go out with your childhood friend. Some things have never changed. Treasure your childhood friends.

Call your mom or dad. Or visit their graves if they passed away. Tell them you miss them. Simple loving words are magical.

Play with your children. Kids are wonderful. If you do not have some, visit places that they go to. Do what they do like playing games.

Sing a song. You can sing it loudly or just hum the melody. Music refreshes the parts of your soul that other sounds cannot reach.

Ask why. Do not be afraid to look silly. Ask your boss, for example, why he is a boss and you are not.

Wear your slippers wrongly. That is to wear the left piece on your right foot and the other way round. Like kids sometimes do.

Talk to your pet. Sleep with your cat. And play hide-and-seek with your dog. Keep a diary of what your pet does everyday.

Look up at the sky at night. Wonder what star is yours, where your protective angel is, and what your destination is in the next life.
