How to Eat and Drink in Bible versus Quran? (1)
This is the first article in this series that is interesting for every one:
How to Eat and Drink in Bible versus Quran?
In the Bible, the Lord God Love says: O son of Adam, shake with fear when you eat your food, and tremble with grief when you drink your water. In the Quran, Allah says: eat and drink but do not be extravagant.

How to Eat and Drink in the Bible? (1)

In Ezekiel 12:18, the Bible states that the Lord God Love says:
O son of Adam, shake with fear when you eat, and tremble with grief when you drink.
In reference to the original Hebrew verse, the exact translation of the verse is:
O son of Adam, eat your bread with trembling and drink your water with shaking and grief.
This is the most straightforward and correct translation of Ezekiel 12:18

Herein, you smart reader will find the translation's discrepancies in 18 different translations obtained from 18 different versions of the Bible.

The first note is that "O son of Adam" is translated in all the 18 different versions of the Bible to "son of man", even without O, i.e., not "O son of man".
It is well-known that there is a big difference between Adam and man. Adam is a proper name of one person who is the father of mankind; on the other hand, man is not a proper name, it is any unknown man.

The second note is that bread is translated to bread in 10 out of the 18 different versions of the Bible studied. In six versions, it is translated to food, while it is translated to meals in one version. In another one version, it is not translated at all (not even to food or meals) and it is ignored completely.
It goes without saying that bread, food and meals are quite different entities; food is not bread and bread is not food. In addition, the version which ignores translating the bread is not professionally honest.

The third note is the translation of eat your bread with "trembling"; "trembling" is correctly translated to trembling in seven out of the 18 different versions of the Bible studied. In six versions, "trembling" is translated to Quaking, while it is translated to Shaking in two versions. Moreover, "trembling" is translated to "trembling with fear", "shaking in your boots" and "hasting", each in one version of the 18 different versions of the Bible studied. The two translations of "trembling with fear" and "shaking in your boots" show overstatements for the meaning while the translation of "trembling" to "hasting" that changes the meaning indicates either ignorance of the translator or his dishonesty.

The fourth note is the translation of: drink your water with "shaking and grief".
In the 18 different versions of the Bible studied, "Shaking and grief" is translated to:
 Trembling with anxiety and Shudder with fear in three versions each.
 Shaking with fear, trembling with fear, trembling with fearfulness and trembling (only) in two versions each.
 Shaking with anxiety, trembling with carefulness, trembling with sorrow and quivering with anxiety in one version each.
This is another example that indicates the corruption of the translation of the word of God.
It should be emphasized that the different versions of the Bible contain a lot of such corruption of the translation of the word of God, in every page and in every verse.
To verify my claim, one has to refer to the original version of the Bible e.g. the Hebrew one and compare what it says with the 18 different versions of the Bible; and goes verse by verse. But who has the time to do this fruitful job? I do it when I found big difference in comparison to the Hebrew Scripture, Tanach.

Apart from the language, and from the health and medical point of view, eating our food with shaking and fear and drinking our water with trembling and grief will cause many medical troubles in both the health in general and specifically in the gastrointestinal tract. This way of eating and drinking ultimately will lead to irritable bowl syndrome, spastic colon, bouts of diarrhea and constipation, psychological troubles etc.
It is well known that the gastrointestinal tract encompasses about 60-80% of the total body's immune system; consequently, what is the reason that made the Lord God Love suggest this strange and hurtful way of eating and drinking?
Moreover, can anyone who has faith in the Bible obey this God's commandment about eating and drinking? I really doubt. However, it is very easy for anyone who has faith in the Quran to obey Allah's commandment about eating and drinking
