Many companies select canopies or tents for use at trade shows and other business events. Deciding which to choose can be a bit of a dilemma. However, there are a few aspects of all the different features available that you will want to think about prior to your purchase of a new pop up tent or custom canopy.
The first matter you will want to consider is how the aluminum canopy or pop up tent will be used. Will the events you attend be held in indoor or outdoor venues? This will make a difference in terms of the strength of materials used, because lighter weight materials may be perfectly suitable for an indoor trade show, but will not hold up under the rain and wind typical at outdoor events. For easy portability and light weight, an aluminum canopy could be in order. If durability in outdoor environments is of greater concern, a steel-framed canopy might also be suitable.
Will this custom canopy be used as a sales venue? If so, you may wish to keep visitors outside the custom canopy roof area in order to monitor cash registers and supplies. At the same time, you also want to present a friendly exterior that will be inviting to walk-up visitors. In this instance, full walls on the back and sides, with a half wall in the front could help to keep foot traffic flow where you want it to be. Half walls used with aluminum canopies make it easy to talk with customers, but keep them where you want them--outside of the canopy area. On the other hand, you might wish to have visitors come inside the booth. In this case, you might want simply a back wall and open sides on your aluminum canopy to allow people to walk through the booth area.
All of the surfaces of the aluminum canopy will also need your attention. Those surfaces are the perfect place to use your company colors, as well as logos and graphics. Therefore, including some full and half walls in your custom canopy will give you more surfaces to use for branding. The roof on a pop up tent or custom canopy also makes a wonderful area to adorn with logos and other graphics; the roof can also be enhanced with additional stylings such as a valance, so that contrasting colors might be used to help make a greater visual impact and help to promote your brand while attracting visitors to your booth.
