If you are like growing numbers of people who are concerned about the way large corporate agriculture continues to adulterate our food, you may be interested in FoxFarm nutrients, whether you grow hydroponics vegetables inside or are a traditional outside gardener. The problem is that in a natural environment, the plants can absorb only so much in the way of these nutrients, so the excess residue winds us contaminating the soil. It is not as important that hydroponic nutrients be organic for the reason that you are accelerating plant growth by using a medium other than soil.

As you may have surmised from this discussion, non-organic hydroponic nutrients are not necessarily a bad thing for the indoor gardener, and FoxFarm nutrients are manufactured from organic ingredients while using technology to create better delivery of food to the plants. While not the best for an ebb and flow or other active recovery system, such organic liquid fertilizers may work well with passive wick systems. Just keep in mind that when it comes to FoxFarm nutrients, a little goes a long way in your hydroponic garden.
