The administration claims that new connections are installed within a 15-day time frame and complaints are addressed within 30-60 minutes.

In terms of telecom, Greater NOIDA is way ahead of its cousins besides being connected to the National Telecom Network o an optical fiber cable and digital microwave system, high-speed data communication services have been made possible by Reliance Infocomm, TATA Telesarvies, RPG enterprise and Power Grid Corporation. A broadband connectivity of 650 MBPS is provided and the city is being wired by OFC cable for Internet, Cable TV and future e-commerce and e-governance services.

And although malls have yet to come up, for quiet entertainment, there are outlets like Steller Gymkhana, Heritage Club, Sports Complex Amusement Park (232 acres) and a few other recreation alcenters. All the above is the good news. Now, for a spot of the bad: the biggest drawback with Greater NOIDA is that the occupancy there is yet to cross the psychologically safe 10 per cent benchmark, eight years. But if you wait that long the opportunity of buying a good piece of property might just slip out of your hands. The prices have already climbed:

Connectivity with Delhi is an other issue, but if you take six lanes Expressway, which is already laid and operational, it’s just about an hour’s drive away from the railway station and the IGI Airport via the DND Bridge, where you are unlikely to hit any traffic bottle- neck. All things considered, if you are still not sure about Greater NOIDA’s real estate prospects, do follow our advice and take your child for that visit to a great urban site and checks the ground conditions for yourself.
