Say Yes to the Old Man

                                                                                         

That's it. The election in the Labor Party is finished and the winner is the trade union leader , Member Of the Knesset Mr. Amir Peretz. Mr Peretz's victory gives rise to a shock in the leadershipof the party and is a surprise to everybody in the party and to the vice Prime Minister and former leader of the Labor Party , Mr. Shimon Peres. The question is whether Mr. Peres is the loser? i'm not sure , but the situation in the election of the party is the cause of Mr. Peretz's victory and Mr. Peres's loss. I think that this is a good and bas situation for the party, why ? because of the following reasons :


1. Mr. Peretz had a lot of "soldiers" to run all around cities , villages , moshav and kibbutzes saying : "Only Peretz" "Only Peretz" "Only Peretz" and this is what made him win.

2. The connection between Mr. Barak and Mr. Vilnai with Mr. Perets gave rise to Peres' loss in the Labor Party election . How could Mr. Barak come for Mr. Peres and do nothing for him . This is in my view a betrayal by Barak to Mr. Peres. This is Problem . All of Mr. Peretz's supporters said to other members that this was going to be the "2006 upheaval" of the Labor Party . This was the reason why Mr. Peretz had received more supporters than Mr. Peres.

Shimon Peres last in the election because the members wanted a young and new leader for the party and peres was probably not suitable for the role.

But I think the different situation in the party will cause Mr. Amir Peretz to need a lot of power in the general election because Mr. Peretz has a lot more to lose than Mr. Peres.


Whether Mr. Peretz will lose to the Likud movment with Sharon or Natanjaho or the New Party Of Sharon (with Peres?) , Mr. Peretz will need to retire like Mitzna and then he will lose all that was in the past . Histadrut (Trade Union General in all State Of Israel) and leader of the Labor Party . This is will be the end of Mr. Peretz. however if peretz wins the general election then Mr. peretz will begin his bright fututre. Leading the party to the government. we will wait and see what will happen to Mr. Peretz until the next elecions.


And as for Mr. peres , I recommend saying :"Yes" To Old Man".
