The more you understand traditional fertilizing techniques, the more appreciation you will have for the Fertigator Pro system. Traditional fertilization uses granular fertilizer applications. While these are effective to some extent, they come at great cost to the landscaper. Granular fertilizer is chemically based, not organic, which is one health compromise already made. Things sound even worse though, when you realize that traditional irrigation involves stressful practices of overfeeding and then starvation. If you fertilize your lawn or garden once a month, then you are pouring down nutrients at an unnatural speed. This will result in a temporary over-supply of nitrogen.

Nitrogen is what feeds plant life, so you are in essence overfeeding your budding greenery, whether that is grass, flowers or other plants. Fertigator Pro feeds plants naturally. On the other hand, traditional fertilizing results in overfeeding. This overfeeding will cause a surge of plant growth, but it will be an unnatural type of growth. Your plant life will grow lushly at the top, but it will sacrifice the quality of root growth. When this happens, everything appears to be all right from the outside. However, landscapers and homeowners will eventually realize that their plant life is growing very slowly. Eventually, plant life becomes undernourished. Why? It is because you are starving your plant life for weeks at a time after the first release of chemical nourishment. The only sustenance these plants will receive will be during the next fertilization. Until then, they will starve and will look sickly. This doesn’t happen when you use Fertigator Pro.

Now relax…we’re not saying plants are “alive”, at least not in the sense of processing pain or death through a nervous system and brain center. However, this malnourishment process does explain why some lawns and gardens look poor, while others, usually organic beds, appear to be of a much higher quality. This feast or famine cycle can be very stressful for plants and will cause poor root development. Furthermore, weak plants are more susceptible to insects, disease and even drought. Therefore, by growing weak plants you actually have to use more pesticide (along with more water and other resources) than you should have to.

On the other hand, Fertigator Pro is a cost-efficient, highly effective and a much greener way to get the fertilization process started. A Fertigator Pro system is an automatic fertilizer injection system that can attach to any in-ground sprinkler. This allows you spoon feed your lawn or garden every time you water the land. Sending only small amounts of fertilizer at a time, this prevents both overfeeding and plant starvation. While the Fertigator Pro system is relatively new, the process of organic fertigation has been seen in agriculture for quite some time.

Fertigation Pro offers a more natural process of growing. Plants can grow in a nutrient-rich environment and thus develop stronger roots and a much more vibrant appearance. Using Fertigation Pro can also cut down on water usage, run-off (which is bad for the environment) and expenses. Fertigation Pro can help your lawn or garden look much lovelier!
