Speaking as a neat freak, as well as a mother, one of the biggest chores in every woman, or single man's life, is our clothing. The most difficult aspect of caring for our clothing, which is expensive, can be stain removal from clothes. Wine, chocolate, grass and other things may stain our clothes in such as way that they are rendered virtually unusable and who can afford that?

Making sure its clean and well cared for is important, and lets face it, clothing is not in the least inexpensive today, so when it gets a stain we're having trouble removing, its not only a pain in the neck, it's a loss. Stain removal from clothes has been one of those nightmares of motherhood for ages.

Accomplishing the removal of stains from our clothes isn't always an easy task, depending on what the stain is. The more difficult stains to remove are blood, grass and anything which is a protein derivative. Sometimes, soaking the stained clothing in cold water will accomplish the removal if we attend to it quickly after it becomes stained.

In some cases, we can use items such as lemon juice, or vinegar, more acidic natural substances, which are often effective on protein stains such as grass stain and things like blood, which are the most common and the most difficult to remove. Chocolate has been removed with vinegar in cold water for me, even when it didn't seem that it was ever going to come out. A short soak and a slight scrub will quite often remove the chocolate stain, but what about those that won't come out this way?

In other cases, the removal of the stain from our clothes seems nearly impossible, which is both frustrating and expensive. When you've got this type of stain, quite often its necessary to use some kind of pretreatment for your clothing, to rub it lightly and give it time to lift out the stain, which may take an hour or so of soaking with your stain removal product.

Select a stain removal product that is mild enough that it won't discolor your clothing, and still has the capacity to assure the stain removal from clothes that you require so that all the money you have in your wardrobe isn't simply washed down the drain.
