The first step to a successful relationship is finding the right guy. Avoid the womanizers and find a relationship-minded man.

If there is one mistake women continually make on the dating scene, it is dating the wrong type of guy. Women often lament this, thinking they are the problem since they just like the wrong type of guy.

Women often think they can filter through these types of guys by asking the man questions. They may ask about previous relationships or if the man wants marriage and children. There are problems with this.

First, womanizers may have had girlfriends in the past. They may have even been married. Nonetheless, they are single now, and they will stay that way. They are not looking for commitment, and there is nothing you can do to change them.

Second, men will lie. If they know commitment is very important to you, they will say whatever they need to say to keep you around for awhile.

In short, it is not what men say, it is more how they make you feel. If a man is very exciting and interesting, that is a warning!

The first step in finding a prince is to reform how you think about men. Do not just go for a guy that makes you feel excited. This is what womanizers do. They are smart at dealing with women (give them credit for that). Do not let a man lead the relationship and hope it is exciting as that is a recipe for disaster.

When you are meeting men, look for those that treat women as partners, not as conquests. Do not go for men that seem overly exciting as that is generally a ruse that womanizers use. I am not saying to go for the most boring men in the world, just be practical.
