In 1990 I decided not to use the commercially made shampoos after reading "Natural Organic Hair and Skin Care." Manufacturers are constantly using toxic chemicals in their skin and hair products and disregard their toxic effects on your body. Here is a natural shampoo that you can make. One empty 8 oz plastic bottle, or any other empty shampoo or soap bottle.
When selecting a Shampoo check their cleansing qualities and abilities. The ingredients that are in the shampoo remain on the surface of hair for sometime. The ingredient that promotes hair growth is Minoxidil which is usually not added in shampoos. Manufacturers think that color may attract people to buy their shampoo. Ammonium Lauril Sulphate is mostly used in cheap shampoos and shower gels. Before selecting a shampoo do remember certain things:
Choose a famous brand shampoo only. See what ingredients are added in the shampoo. Cheap detergents may spoil your hair after several washes. Avoid using such types of shampoo. Don't change the shampoo if it suits you. It is not only shampoo that makes your hair weak. Scalp psoriasis can lead to redness, inflammation, and hair loss. The usual treatment is to use shampoo for psoriasis. The most common ingredient in this shampoo is coal tar. Emu oil can prevent it by making your skin thicken and controlling the production of new skin.
The next you buy shampoo for psoriasis, choose one that contain natural ingredients and anti inflammatory compounds. Organic hair products and organic skin products can eliminate the amount of harmful toxins that our bodies are consuming through our scalp, hair and skin. This ingredient is similar to that of a detergent and removes oils from the skin. It can be harmful to the skin and cause skin problems (dermatitis).
In an effort to protect their hair, skin, nails from these harmful chemicals, a lot of people have begun to switch to organic hair products as well as organic skin products. Now some of these of products can also be marketed as organic or natural and this is because some of these products are calling themselves organic hair products or organic skin products but they also have synthetic ingredients as well, mainly used as preservatives and those are mostly parabens.
Since real organic hair and skin products are plant based it is important to stay informed of the product that you are choosing to use.
As long as you do your due diligence, we believe that you will find that organic hair product or organic skin product that will work wonders for your hair and skin.
Sodium Lauryl Sulphate or SLS - is it listed in the ingredients? Sodium Lauryl Sulfate or SLS is a detergent commonly found in soaps, shampoos, toothpastes, and a host of other personal hygiene products. SLS in your personal hygiene products is cause for concern. Sodium Lauryl Sulfate is by far the most dangerous ingredient being used in personal hygiene products.
Start reading ingredients and stop purchasing those products that use Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. Your scalp and your skin will thank you as they absorb natural ingredients that enrich and nourish the skin.
