Also, be sure to be specific when you are making the list, it will save you a lot of time in the long run when you are looking for something or unpacking. This will make it so you do not bring the wrong boxes to the wrong places when you are unpacking, or stick something in storage when you made need it in the near future.

When you are container sharing and putting multiple items in one box it is also very easy to color coordinate and pack the same type of stuff in the same color box for example, all clothing should be packed in blue boxes, or all kitchen supplies should be in red boxes. Or you could do it another way, you could pick a different color for each room in the new house and then you will designate the boxes that you are packing in an appropriate color, you can do this with colored stickers in order to keep it clean. This also can be very helpful for people who may be moving your stuff for you because it allows them to know where everything goes as well so they are not leaving boxes in the middle of your home. The move will also be made easier if you try to buy different size boxes, everything you own is a different size and buy purchasing boxes that are different sizes you will be able to fit stuff in the boxes easier.
