Gurbaksh Chahal is no stranger to entrepreneurship. At the age of 17, Gurbaksh Chahal had no knowledge about girls; however he was savvy enough to make $300,000 a month with an Internet advertising company he founded in his bedroom at his family's home in San Jose. Gurbaksh Chahal, commonly goes with “G” by his friends has made the most of the land of opportunities. He took a decision to drop out of high school to pursue his dream Click Agents, an online advertising company. Gurbaksh Singh Chahal, founder of ClickAgents and BlueLithium, started his first company when he was just 16, sold it at 18 for USD 40 million. He started his second company when he was 21 and sold it for USD 300 million.
Not content to cool his heels after selling ad network BlueLithium to Yahoo, founder and entrepreneurial guru “Gurbaksh Chahal” is rejoining the technology game with gWallet, a new ecommerce solution which will help people shop for bargains on the Internet. Now all of 26, he sits on top of astounding achievements: He sold his first company, Click Agent, for $40 million in an all-stock merger in 2000, and his second, Blue Lithium, to Yahoo for $300 million.
After the sale of BlueLithium, Gurbaksh Chahal decided that his role at Yahoo was complete and he decided to make a list of all the different things he wanted to do outside of business. His biggest dreams were – “The Dream”, to be a part of “Secret Millionaire” and Interview by “Oprah Winfrey”. In November 2007, he signed up with William Morris to explore these projects (The Dream and Secret Millionaire). 2008 proved to be a very lucky year for Gurbaksh Chahal as all his dreams came true in 2008.
