Bollywood movies are the lifeline of Indian democracy so when the movie capital of the country was rocked by the recent terrorist attack, every activity relating to the Indian film industry came to a stand still. This news completely shattered the entire Bollywood industry, which was hoping to generate crores of revenue with two mega releases of the year slated for December. First being the Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer 'Rab ne bana di jodi' slated for December 12 release and another featuring Mr. Perfectionist, i.e., Aamir Khan in his 'Ghajini' which will be hitting the screens on 'Christmas', ie 25th of December.
In case these films had not hit the screens, it would have been a disastrous thing for the entire industry, which is banking heavily on these films to set the cash registers ringing and if they hit the bulls eye on the box office then it would lay a perfect platform for the early releases of the year of 2009, which has a wide variety for its users in the form of Comedy movies such as 'Chandni Chowk to China' and horror movies, one of them is 'Raaz, the mystery continues...' from Mohit Suri.
But that would require a scintillating effort from both of the above mentioned films at the box office, although the recent films released just before and soon after the attacks sank without a trace, but that theory is supposed to take a backseat when both of the films hit the screens on their scheduled dates. Since, two Khan's of the reigning 'Khan dynasty' will be seen clashing with each other to outshine the other person in being the ruling king of the Bollywood.
“Rab ne bana di jodi' specially holds a lot of significance for the director of the film, Aditya Chopra. The son of yesteryear director and owner of Yashraj Banner, Yash Chopra, will be seen making a comeback after a abatement of nine long years. The director who has two films under his belt namely 'Mohabattein' (his last film) and 'DDLJ' wrote the history with the latter, some 12 years back, where he portrayed an eternal love story in the scenic locales of Switzerland and Punjab. With 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi' he would be thinking to recreate the same old magic all over again.
This movie has latest audio songs with full of masti and music.
On the other side, there is 'Ghajini', starring Aamir Khan and South siren, Asin. Aamir who is known for his taste of films and his out-of-the-box style hasn't disappointed his fans this time, as this time the fans of Aamir will see him sporting eight-pack abs with a weird haircut, in the shape of a monster who is out to avenge the murder of his love. But there is a glitch, his memory lasts for only 15 minutes. Sounds interesting na! So get ready for packing the punch, this season with both the Khans. These people have worked in some Art Movies
